The-Good-The-Bad-The-Ugly.jpg

A La Scala Re run live from the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, screening from 15.00 on Saturday 29th October 2011

In hopefully (please God) the last and the best installment of his so-called "Tulloch" trilogy of Terry Butcher directed "spaghetti football", Bad Richie Foran is reprised in the role of a taciturn, enigmatic loner. Here he searches for a return to form, backed to the hilt by the Good (Terry Butcher), a ruthless bounty hunter, and the Ugly (Maurice Mispass), a lookalike Mexican bandit. Though dubbed "the Good," Butcher's character thinks that he is much better than any of the world population -- he is just smarter and shoots his gob off faster. The film's title reveals its ironic attitude toward the canonized heroes of Inverness Caledonian Thistle. "The real Sneck was the world of violence, fear, and brutal instincts," claimed film Critic IHE. "In pursuit of profit and success there is no such thing as good and evil, generosity or deviousness; everything depends on chance, and not the best wins but the luckiest." Immensely entertaining and beautifully shot in February8thscope by Uilleam Bell, the movie is a virtually definitive "spaghetti football" classic, rivaled only by Noel Gallagher's Once Upon a Time at Old Trafford (2011). The main musical theme by Benny Hill (The Fastest central defender in the North) hit #1 on the British pop charts. Originally released by Craig Brewster in Hamilton, the movie has been resurrected by the Muirfield Mills Film Company and all profits will go to Tullochs in lieu of thier votes.

Please take your shoes off on entry
