With a week or so left of the transfer window, i thought i would start a thread which can be used to announce signings or maybe signing rumours regarding Inverness Caley.

All i know is that Terry wants a slice of a £165k windfall to add to squad before next week with an attack minded player his priority.

Until a player signs then any news is "rumour" or talk relating to players from other teams, "Non-ICT", that we like the look of and should be put in the relevant forums.

I'm really quite surprised by this, wouldn't have thought the club would have the extra cash to take this gamble, 6-9 months if all goes well which of course it may not. We must have plenty of funds at the moment.

I like to think that such gestures are what set us aside from other clubs.

This kind of gesture is what builds the togetherness within the team, and loyalty from the players.

Some clubs would not think twice about tossing aside a player like Hogg who has suffered a potentially career threatening/ending injury. Its a business after all and an injured player is not good business. However, despite the mumps and moans we sometimes have about ICT being less professional off the park than some other teams, I think they have hit the spot with this one and showed they care, which in turn allows the player to concentrate on recovery.

Chris Hogg will return, anyone who reads his blog sees that determination and can be optimistic about that, and when he does return, he seems the sort of player who would want to repay the faith and loyalty that the club and manager has shown to him. Lets not forget that he is only 26 and his best years may be ahead of him should he recover fully ....

assuming he recovers - and I concede that this is the gamble ICT are taking - he may even be a future club captain ?

Delighted by this news. Effectively the first signing for the 2012/2013 campaign!

This is a fantastic way to treat someone especially after the injury. Keep the positive thinking going Hoggy. You will be a fat porker for a while but this news means you will come back leaner and fitter.

Hayes off to Glasgow tomorrow for a "meeting".

Reading a bit too much of the Haircut thread perhaps? Smile

Or just trying to Hogg the limelight..eh?

Och well , it's horses for courses, so keep it comi

I suppose ICT will want Chris tore start his training at Hogganfield at the Loch-side?.

Who with ?

Rig, just because Foran and him were initiating a close encounter of the throaty kind does not imply by any means, that he is like ..that.

Scarlet...."Man Date" is the modern term used for when guys hang out and go for a meal or whatever. It implies nothing in regards to sexuality.

He scored 7 goals in 12(9) games for Burton Albion and 2 goals in 5(3) games for Hereford on loan last season and this.

Going to be wearing number 20 apparently. Also tweets that he is going to try and help the club achieve top 6.

A striker with a track record .

Hoping this guy does the buisness and looking forward to seeing him in action.

The idea of Terrry Butcher and Paolo di Canio negotiatiing over the phone about Lee Cox appeals to me. I'd buy a ticket to lug into that conversation.

STV chat saying Killen and Mackie could be on their way.

I see Chris Killen has scored 17 in 35 for the Chinese team he plays for. That's a good record (don't know what the standard there is though - probably not very high). Think he'd be a great signing mind.

He's still a New Zealand international as well of course.
