Caley Jags 2017/18 squad + changes in/out

Started a little squad roster with ins and outs from the season past. There's gonna be a fair bit of movement I think. This might help keep track

Any help noting confirmed signings in the comments and I'll edit the post to suit. Please avoid idle gossip and rumours. Just definite inward bound (contract length if possible) and departures (Destination). Also any up to date information on those I've put ??? next to would be appreciated as well.

I have noted there is a transfers in and out thread but this is more of a squad list, which will take those into account.

  • I agree with you. He makes mistakes and they can be some realy frustrating errors but the amount of hate he gets from the stands is absolutely ridiculous.

  • Don't think we saw enough of him to form any opinion on how capable he may or may not have been. Imagine if we'd punted Ridgers after only having seen him in action a couple of times....or Coll D

  • Liam Polworth is the leading assist provider in the Scottish Championship so far this season, with nine.  He has 14 overall for us this season (three in the league cup, two in the challenge cup).  Nex

With money at a premium, we will be shopping at Nicol's corner shop. There's nothing left to go round.

Nicol's has closed down

Oh dear,we're fecked then.

Robbo has said for weeks he was going to get a defender in, as far as I know, that's still the case, but that's it. Unless of course Mulraney get's sold.

Or we get OFW off the wage bill.

With the Dons desperate for a keeper now and Del on the radio saying they will have someone in place prior to the game tomorrow............we can only hope he comes calling for the proven Welsh international who starred at the Euro's!!!!

I wonder if Mulraney is away too? He didn't seem at all interested tonight.

I am assuming Indianapolis Indy eleven a team from NASL that just joined USL this year and are now coached by Martin Rennie from Thurso (former coach of Vancouver Whitecaps). They had ambitions to get into MLS but were not successful

Its been rumoured since the summer that a move to the US was what OFW wanted, shame this season has turned his whole tenure at the club sour and what he will be remembered for rather than achieving a place at the Euros with Wales. Glad he's off the payroll (or hope he is) we really need to be making sure that the guys who earn the most contribute the most. Lets hope its not too late for JR to get some new faces with the cash to enhance the squad.

Hopefully, they will pay all of his salary for the duration of the loan.

That would be nice, but I cant help thinking it is a loan and not a transfer because OFW is better off retaining his ICT contract, as the new club weren’t willing to pay him that much.

That's them ?

Robbo also confirmed that Susan's contract is being terminated.

I really cannot imagine them paying a decent wage ... perhaps a percentage, which is better than nothing I suppose.

The teams in USA/Canada are in pre-season right now. Indy Eleven have 4 players listed in their squad, one of them a former Toronto player (Justin Braun). The manager seems to have been in place for about 2 weeks having just returned from a coaching stint in South Korea .... wonder if he has contacts back in the Highlands who alerted him to the fact that ICT had an available player .... In OFW's case, perhaps he is hoping that a stint in USL will bring him to the attention of an MLS team and to get that elusive contract he seems to covet .....

Don't believe all the nonsense that's been spouted on this.  I'm pretty certain OFW wants to be between the sticks for ICTFC, but having been sidelined (for whatever reason) and left to look elsewhere to find game time, his preference was to go and try his hand in the US.

Looking forward to Jim White revealing a series of league clinching signings on Sky Sports News today.

Well, he was a complete non event.

one position needed is right back as sorry Brad is not he cant cross the ball into the box he is better suited at CB with Coll the more i watch him at RB i get so annoyed that we got rid of Raven i know i know was all about money

right back/centre back and centre midfielder would be nice since some wages i presume have been freed up. Only a few hours left...

OK, we have freed up some wages, and going to invest that money in what????

The transfer window closing is only for permanent moves. The loan window is open til March and obviously free transfers can be completed anytime.....

That's what Robbo was talking about in his post-match interview last night; getting in a couple of loanees before the end of February.

You have to look at the panic signings over the Bridge not appearing to make much of a difference to their predicament. They are falling further behind and it looks like no amount of money will help.
