Nathan Austin

Featured Replies

Just been confirmed by Robbo on radio.

hopefully he does better than the last falkirk reject (Baird)

I think he’ll get better coaching here, and here’s hoping he can recapture the form and goals that had SPL clubs scouting him. Sounds like a good punt to me.

Was hoping they had swapped Austin for Baird. No such luck.

If i recall, didn't Austin score against us in the Bet Fred Cup? I thought he was quite good then, so I hope he can kick on.

Ten points for anyone who can tell me which former player of ours also once won a best dressed man award.

Correct.  Named Best Dressed Man in Britain by GQ as I recall.

Sadly not.  My career was cut very short due to a lack of ability.

did you have a short football history or short shopping life?

Half true. Or maybe just a quarter!

It was Esquire not GQ, and he didn’t win anything, he was just one of the “models” featured in a regular series of photo shoots headed “Britain’s Best Dressed Men”.

Does that really constitute 'best dressed' ???:amazed: I've gone to my bed dressed better than that !

The less said about that the better!

Legend. Loved Roman on his short stint with us. Oozed class I thought with the odd brainfart that you get with young lads. Apparently told Terry he was going up front when the strikers kept missing chances and was told in no uncertain terms to get back to his position. Gotta love his confidence though.

Bonus points for anyone who can name the former Inverness player who founded his own mens clothing brand.

That would be Ben Greenhalgh, his 'Follow London' brand. My son has bought a couple of the tops!

Now there's no need to be jealous because the women in the pie stall complimented me and not you!

I am sure I heard the woman in the pie stall say something about Mantis..............couldnt quite pick it up though!
