Robbo is closing in on his first signing after agreeing terms with a left sided player to replace Calder. The player won't play until January as he was contracted to an overseas club until after August. From today's P&J.

What's the latest on the Liam Polworth rumours? 

The St Johnstone approach seems to have gone quiet in the press at least ... someone on the St Johnstone thread on Pie & Bovril were saying that Ross County were apparently also interested? 

(The way he has played at Dungwall this season I feared that might be on the cards).

I'd rather he stayed but if he goes anywhere I hope it's not County!

I would be pretty amazed and shocked if he went this late in the transfer window, unless we get a swap deal with another player from the team signing him.  I am expecting a quiet day tomorrow, nobody in and nobody out :). 

I think he will probably go over the bridge in the summer,  to the retirement home for old ICT players.

Peter Pawlett, defender Mark Connolly, and midfielder Calum Butcher all joined the Arabs.

Pawlett is a decent signing. Butcher is rubbish.

Absolutely diabolical decision unless we have a quality replacement lined up.  Which we clearly haven't. 

How many more will Brian Rice poach from ICT?   Such a turncoat - whoever heard of him before he came to ICT.

I meant Brian Rice - not George.   He will always be gorgeous.
