  1. For me I just don't feel we're ICT any more. I've had this feeling that we're just another club since 2016. The magic has gone. This must be how it feels to support all the other clubs.
  2. Disagree. In the Foran season I believe there were a core of experienced senior players who were unhappy at the managerial approach so almost downed tools hoping for changes to occur (we see it often at big EPL clubs etc but oblivious when its happening infront of us). Once that happened unfortunately it was just too late for them to step it up and turn it around. Most then took the chance to leave so never had to deal with the repercussions IMO. This year has been slightly different with disruptions, covid challenges, managerial uncertainties due to extenuating circumstances. All of which I think has badly affected the players and their confidence and perhaps the stop/start nature coupled with new coaching ideas is just more than most can adapt to quick enough. Decent or talented players dont become poor overnight without other influences and on paper I believe we have some very good individuals (on their day).
  3. Lets face it, The players we have are no better than than the teams around us in the Championship, And... are way poorer than the top 4 or 5 teams, The signings we have made have made the team quality lower tan ever, And management can not compensate for this. Todarov,Sutherland and Storey will never ever be regular scoring players, Oh for an Ian Stewart.
  4. McInnes' feeder club hit hard times, hence his Aberdeen side struggled with recruitment.
  5. Well, I have a touch of wind, so I will decide who wins...
  6. There may be a time when we have to have this conversation but, in my view, it is premature right now.
  7. My excitement is reaching fever pitch for this game. Will we draw or lose? What minute will we go behind? All will be answered.
  8. We dont want any more losses , we dont want any more draws we want wins wins wins, so get out there and do the job. remember it is mind over matter. wins wins wins. Come on ICT
  9. What a shambles that was. These guys are just not interested and so far have shown they have no desire to fight for our club. The performances have been a disgrace. I've never seen a team so poor and so limited in skill and ability as this one in all my years supporting the club. Here's hoping we can survive this season and somehow get rid of these **** poor players we have playing for us. Maybe then we can get guys in who will care about playing for ICT.
  10. Hoping. I've got hundreds of memories watching ICT since 1994 but if I go over the past 4 years all I can come up with is Tannadice in the Cup.
  11. Think we need an awful lot more than hope at the moment.
  12. They might play better for the real TV.
  13. Relegation and a part time club is looking likely. I can’t say since we joined the leagues away back other than some of the stuff Balthaca played have I seen us looking so devoid of ideas. The play was slow and uninspiring. Players like Mcgregor Daniel McKay always looked so promising in the past. Something seems to Have gone wrong Is this a case of McCanns coaching ideas. Interestingly the commentator said he had no time before the hearts game in which we did quite well against top of league team. Now he’s had time we look abysmal.
  14. I recall possession football with no penetration then being picked off by what we deemed were lesser teams, time and time again. Sounds familiar?
  15. Its clear what the problem is and has been for months - we dont score goals. Look at the stats 18 games with 25 goals. While the defence is relatively solid only conceding 23 which only 4th best in the whole league our scoring record is very poor being 4th worst. So the question has to be are our forward players honking devoid of confidence or do we just have no creative ideas to feed them. Probably a combination of both IMO which is ironic as on paper we have some talented players who are good enough for this level.
  16. A club in absolute freefall. Mind boggling that wealthy shareholders stand idly by and watch the club spiral into oblivion. Would be good to hear how Mr Gardiner suggests we extricate ourselves from this current predicament. I'm all ears.
  17. We had an encouraging opening 30 minutes against Hearts but everything after that has been absolutely abysmal. We are sleepwalking towards relegation. I would not be at all surprised if Buckie put us out of the Scottish Cup. We have already had a stupid run of games and we play Saturday / Tuesday or Wednesday for all of March I think. Our squad isn't the biggest and the guys we do have available will be absolutely burst. A "new" manager trying to instil his philosophy into players who are clearly struggling with it when we don't have the time to adapt to this kind of change and he can't bring in players who can play that way. It has all the hallmarks of another chapter in the Inverness CT banter years.
  18. Is that a euphemism for not so good at scoring?
  19. Is it too soon to start the #McCannOut campaign?
  20. Total disgrace. Fecked off with this lot
  21. If by some miracle we stay up ,then please please get rid of the f*****g lot of them.
  22. Sunday league this is with the amount of yellows and stupid tackles
  23. Feel like we are sleep walking towards relegation at the minute. Depressing stuff.
  24. Yes absolutely dire and McCann doesn't seem to inspire them at all. Buckie will fancy their chances in 2 weeks.
  25. This must be the worst Caley Thistle team i've ever watched, So slow and predictable. It's painful viewing, and where we can we get a goal from? No urgency! do they know we're getting beat?
  26. There is 2 play offs in the Championship and we're heading towards one of them
  27. Good to see the Morton player who slipped in the box get straight back up and not try to claim he’d been fouled. Quite surprising!
  28. Aye nothing was going on so thought that would be a convo starter 😂
  29. He has been in the past.
  30. It's a fair question. I'd be pretty happy with him actually should Robbo step back. I very much we could afford him though lest he was willing to take a big wage drop.
  31. Yes, we all realise that. But as of this moment, he is our manager, and the last thing he needs is speculation about his job. He needs and deserves our unqualified support at this dark time.
  32. Robbo is our manager unless he says otherwise. End of.
  33. Nah, I reckon we will give someone a doing soon. No better time than the present against a mediocre Morton.
  34. It’s probably going to be a high scoring win for one of the teams!
  35. I have long thought that in just about any football league, if you average 1 point per game you will probably be OK - a place or two above relegation or playoffs. A quick look round the six English and Scottish leagues that are operating shows that it's true in four, but not in the two Championships. Tonight's opponents have 19 points from 18 games, but are in 9th place. That said, we should of course be looking for a win every time we go out. We are certainly capable of it.
  36. This game has draw all over it
  37. Todorov has a decent return with a goal every 182 minutes. That's a goal every other game if he was playing a full 90 minutes and his goal conversion rate is significantly higher than our other strikers. I've sometimes felt that he's almost trying to hard and has maybe snatched at some chances. You can't fault his effort and he gets in some decent positions. I think if he was to get a proper run in the side he could get enough goals to at least help us keep in touch with the playoffs at the right end of the table and away from them at the wrong end.
  38. Except that's wrong. Had Alloa won we would have remained eighth. That's why my original post said 'only goal difference will be in our favour' and that would obviously keep us ahead of both clubs had Alloa won.... unless they won by at least 21 goals.
  39. Here’s hoping Robbo comes back. We couldn’t afford Mcinnis and he never loaned us any players but did nearly every other championship club, so he thinks hee-haw of us.
  40. We do seem to play better on when on tv. Queens away and Hearts at home were two of our best performances, so maybe we can hope??
  41. Doubt he’s on Caleythistle Online
  42. Sounds like Harper could be a doubt for tomorrow: https://ictfc.com/match-preview-morton-h
