The combination of defensive errors was a bit freakish, but missing Deas and Devine we can expect to be vulnerable at the back, especially with Allardice missing as well. If we are vulnerable at the back, we have to be more incisive and clinical up top, and that is where we struggle at the moment. We have only scored 4 goals in our last 6 games. We huffed and puffed tonight with good possession but very rarely threatened. Often when it looked like we might threaten, we turned back and played a safe ball which only served to allow Morton's defence to get back in position. And when we did shoot, our shooting was woeful with only 2 shots on target and their keeper never seriously tested. You don't win games by keeping possession, you win them by scoring goals.4 points

Dodds publicly throwing Ridgers under the bus is, IMHO, extremely poor form. A poor half from Mark but that's dreadful man management.4 points

That was the keepers ball to come and claim ffs it's in the six yard box . Honestly every goal tonight has been totally avoidable.3 points

SPOTTED! Lional Nessie was spotted taking part in running The Daily Mile at Dalneigh Primary School this afternoon - maybe he could be on the subs bench, given the lack of fit players.3 points

Ridgers and Dodds obviously have a problem. Vital they behave like adults and sort it out straight away before it goes any further.2 points

Many older fans will remember/recognise the name of John Sutherland. Sadly, he has passed away at the age of 71yrs earlier this week. For those that didn't know John, he was the stadium manager at ICT for a number of years in the days before we had a CEO. The roles were somewhat similar, and the stadium manager ran all the non-football activities of the club whilst the football manager and the director of football took care of all the footballing activities. I had the pleasure of dealing with John a lot over the years as it related to the website. He was in charge at the stadium in the days when David Sutherland and Ken Thomson were running things in the boardroom and kept the stadium running in an organised and regimental fashion befitting of his previous role as a captain in the Queens Own Highlanders. You could never be sure when John was being serious with you or winding you up as you discussed things, until you saw the smirk and realised he got you again! One of his other roles at the club was as the matchday security chief and many would perhaps recognise him from the entrance to the tunnel in the days before we had the pull-out cover ... there were many times that myself and our motley crew got a finger wag, a chuckle and a wink from John after a particularly good wind-up of opposition players, managers or the referee. My personal condolences go to his family, and we extend those condolences from the site also. Service will be on Wednesday 9th November as per the notice in the Courier. Ridgers hooked. That worries me as he’s been great for us. Yes, he’s not been his best tonight but what will this do for team morale. Coming after the alleged bust up on Saturday, what is going on?2 points

3 horrendous goals to loose. Why didn't Ridgers come out and claim the corner. The ball landed about 3 yards from his line. Surely he has to come and claim it.2 points

Despite the injuries, with the team we have, we should be doing much better than this !2 points

I agree that trying to win the game despite the adversity is the way to go. Who dares wins and all that. Morton were a physical team in the last game so first and foremost win the individual jousts. Enjoy the game and hopefully end Morton's run. Get intae them...2 points

tm4tj lists 9 players who are currently out injured and a further 2 who are just returning from injury. Those players would make a pretty impressive starting 11, so it is all the more impressive that we are as high in the table as we are. It may not always be pretty but when a team is picked on the basis of who is fit enough to play and you can't play a settled side, then any result is a plus however it is achieved. Morton will be very hard to beat. After their 5-1 gubbing at the hands of Partick on the 1st of the month, Morton have taken 10 points from 4 games and only conceded 1 goal. To get anything out of the game will be a real achievement, but we tend to do well when the cameras are there. It is an opportunity for those coming into the side to show what they can do and fight for a place in the side when injured players return. I'm not expecting us to win, but I am expecting to see a team playing with real commitment.2 points

Mindful of our injury situation, but not for the first time this season, or last……..,,,,,,, just not good enough !!!! I question our training ( injuries in relation to other championship teams) performance and desire to win ( score goals) and our passing / possession / tactical game which has been Shi*e…….. so can only conclude our management team are not up to the task!1 point

Billy Dodds will no doubt be ' Disappointed ' Which will be slightly less than my feelings.1 point

Think damage was done when we gifted 3 to the opposition!!there's just no way back from that.Added to this fact is the fact that we could play till midnight and we don't look like scoring.Morton dangerous every time they go forward.Really missing our big players, but those selected should and could have done better.Embarrassed.1 point

Ridgers rooted to his f***ing goal line for the third absolutely shocking .1 point

You just cannot afford to give any team 3 goals for nowt and expect to win games. All the pressure for first five minutes,Morton go up park for first time and score.A stupid pen and then an own goal.Only ICT1 point

Played good passing football so far. Hard to believe we're 2 down, but we've been really charitable.1 point

Definitely. Possibly Duffy and Ram at centre half so Delaney can continue at left back. Good to have Welsh starting so some experience in the middle. Samuels on the bench is positive as his pace could be handy late on.1 point

Yes, I saw him! Is he moonlighting? Or has he been transferred to Dalneigh without telling the supporters? We need answers from the club.1 point

Due to cutbacks the club no longer have a stretcher! They tried to unscrew the changing room door but ran out of time. Despite our injury ravaged squad the team did very well to gain a point and keep our record Vs Raith intact! well done.1 point

Things I miss: Lionel Nessie Matchday Programme Matchday streaming Matchday audio commentary Fan communication An atmosphere Entertaining match twitter updates Social media that's informative without asking for money Decent manager & player interviews Being treated as if the club valued the fans and not just our wallets Player meet ups (other than sponsors night) The club that I used to enjoy following A social club that properly catered for fans1 point

Well another game where we could have played till midnight and never scored. Again, wrong tactics for me from Dodds. You have to control the midfield, that means playing one up top with midfield supporting. Playing Oakley with Bill Mckay just doesn't give us enough. And I really thought his subs were bad, and as for his interview after the match, that is just unprofessional, creating something that should have been kept in the dressing room, now we all want to know what happened! I'm starting to get the feeling that Dodds is losing the dressing room, if he hasn't lost it already. I don't see these players wanting to run through brick walls for him, there's no zip and no passion.0 points

Rodgers has been superb over the last few years and one of our most confident players. On some occasions he has been the difference between loss / draw / win. Recently however, he has been below his normal high standards, basic mistakes have crept in . Change is inevitable!!!!!0 points

Interviewer: “You made a goalkeeping change at half time. Why was that?”. Dodds: “That will remain private”. Enough said. We have a problem.0 points

I say I say I say.... Does not matter one iota... That is his job. That 1st goal was a feckin howler! What what what what?0 points
