SPL U-19 Exit Trials

I notice that the SPL U-19 exit trials for players who have not had their contracts renewed are taking place in Glasgow on the 27th June.

Will this be another potential source of new squad players?

doubt it as they have been going for years and we aint got anyone from them before. Dont think they send anyone down to watch from the club anyway. They will have seen all the guys that have been released also

I'd have thought that U19s who aren't good enough for SPL sides would only really be of interest to SFL teams.

Of course it is an event which should be attended - no doubt some of the participants would have been "dumped" for other reasons than skill.

I thought he came through the Rangers youth system

He did, and also played against us when on loan at Dundee. He was invited for a trial with us and played in some pre-season friendlies before signing.
