The old Morris Minor this one registered in Birmingham so it's a long way from where registered.

The only time I was in a Citroen Traction Avant was with my daughter travelling from Pitlochry to Dunkeld on her wedding day and I was told later that I spent a lot of the time talking to the driver about the car

Just an effort to lift some of the gloom that we're mired in right now. A Trabant at the Imperial War Museum in Manchester last week, plus an actual Trabby on the street in Prague a couple of years back.

Great idea Mantis  it's all doom and gloom just now

I don't fancy the Trabant although it would serve it's purpose.  Reminds me of the Lada that my father in law had, he was a shepherd and during lambing his trusted W reg VW Jetta gave up after twelve years of use carrying dogs for work and to trials all over the north of Scotland and likely sheep as well!  My mother in law and her brother had a budget to get him a car quick and bought him the Lada  which he said was like a Massey Ferguson tractor to drive  he didn't keep it long.

Here is one I came across in Lossiemouth a few weeks ago while through to see the Red Arrows.  I thought it looked like a car from the eastern block trying to copy a Daimler but the way it was parked couldn't see it properly.  I didn't have a clue what it was  so had to use Google!  To save you the trouble see the link below.

And while it might not be transport here are the Red Arrows.  They are cutting back, no coloured smoke and only 7 planes.  They might have to paint them Air Force Blue and arm them up soon as they don't have much else!

I remember having a similar reaction the first time I saw one of those Chrysler Cruisers.
