  1. Very excited. Flying in from oz especially for the final!
  2. This time last week Josh was an ICT player known mainly by his fans . This week there are not many in the football world who hasn't heard of Josh Meekings .Our Josh has made history .Go on now Josh and make history for ICT on the pitch .We are all very very proud of you.
  3. Although I would qualify as a season ticket holder and any combination of ticket that may be decided, having gone to every away match, so not really bothered I would be hacked off if system was changed. Season ticket holders show their loyalty to the club season after season and I feel it is only correct we get some recognition by getting first dibs at tickets for the final. And anyway I want to sit with my pals.
  4. If it comes down to preferential treatment (my opinion only ) would be .The die hard fans who travel the A9 and A96 to every away game whatever the weather regardless of results should be a priority .It would show a little gratitude from the club for loyalty .I appreciate it comes down to cost on a weekly basis .
  5. Seems to be a few dudes flying in from all over the world. I may be an ersehole but I love meeting up with the world wide faithful. SIGN IN please.
  6. 8 league matches without a win now. Zilcho points from 4 games v Aberdeen, combined with zilcho points from our 3 games v Partick. It's been an amazing season whatever happens now, but if we knew how to beat those 2 teams we could be champions!
  7. I definitely sympathise with this position tbh. Mixed feelings tbh but I would love a Caleyaway section.
  8. Regardless of conspiracy theories, here we have Scotland football's top legal adviser not even knowing the basics of his job. He cannot read and was made to look completely stupid before the tribunal was due to start. The process was abandoned because of his incompetence. Based on TV evidence it is impossible to blame Alan Muir. His view is completely obstructed by Leigh Griffiths. Even the referee has just the same nanosecond as Josh to assess if the ball hit his hand or head. I do not regard what he did as a mistake. He was not certain, asked Alan Muir and possibly the linesman and none could see what those higher up in the stadium, or on TV could see. As for conspiracy theories, remember that Yogi is always trying to outwit Mr Ranger!!
  9. "You want the truth, you can't handle the truth!" Celtic LOST because JH out-thought Delilah by going 4-4-2 Celtic LOST because Draper/Tansey outfought and outplayed Broon/Biton Celtic LOST because Warren/Meekings hardly gave Griffiths a sniff Celtic LOST because Matthews couldn't cope with Watkins' pace Celtic LOST because Gordon made a poor decision to dive at Watkins' feet Celtic LOST because Delilah took off the only player on Celtic's team who was anywhere near a match for ICT (Forrest) Celtic LOST because they failed to score from open play Celtic LOST because ICT played better footbal Celtic LOST because Ross/Shinnie and Raven combined to score a fantastic goal 3 minutes from the end of extra time Celtic LOST to the better team on the day, who wanted it more Celtic LOST because they thought it would be a cake-walk to the treble Dry your eyes and learn to take defeat gracefully.

"Inverness CT playmaker Ryan Christie is the target of several English Premier League clubs, including Everton and Newcastle United. However, the youngster expressed his desire to remain in his hometown for foreseeable future, and it is believed a fee of around £1 million would be required to persuade the club to part with their highly promising youngster. (The Sun)"
  11. The option for season ticket holders first is fair, but I agree we should have a way of allocating seats as I'd like to be standing even if its nearer the back rows. The constant stand up sit down in the semi annoyed me as I wad about halfway down there weren't enough others around me willing to stay on their feet which I respect but find frustrating.
  12. Doh. Meant look out Hampton. Too excited to type properly.
  13. Is it just me but I would prefer it to be the faithful / loyal. With little allowance for letting people sit together you often can end up surrounded by people that you have never seen before and may never do again. This was even irritating at the semi final with the decision to leave a gap between two elements of our support.
  14. We should put Willie Collum in charge.
  15. Don't forget to call into the Innes Gabby.. its still there!
  16. Before the game I would have been disappointed but not surprised. Having been at the game, I am surprised as well. Based on the first half and even after we actually, eventually scored, Aberdeen were there for the taking. They were less impressive/more vulnerable than any of our previous encounters all season ... And I've been to all four. Gutting. Marley was naturally frustrated with his galling miss. In trying to make amends (and maybe get another shot on goal), he seemed to take on too much himself a few times when an early pass / through ball would have been a better option and he ended up getting crowded out.
  17. I'm not a massive fan of crowd wanking but the home crowd was pretty poor in terms of turnout. I thought it looked around 4,500. A far cry from the 7,000 + turnouts we used to get v Aberdeen. Shame really as it's those who aren't there who are generally missing out.
  18. Massively disappointing result. Felt like a bit of a smash and grab by Aberdeen to be honest who looked poor for much of the match until we shot ourselves in the foot by conceding two shoddy goals again from set plays (something that needs to be sorted out). After they went ahead Aberdeen comfortably saw out the rest of the match. It may be clichéd by the sign of a good is when they are playing poorly but still winning and that appears to be true for Aberdeen today. We started brightly enough. Some of our passing play in and around the Aberdeen area was fantastic. Clever and intricate one touch passing which carved open the Dons defence on a few occasions. Watkins and Ross both found themselves one on one with the keeper only a few yards out but each time they were denied by superb stops by Brown in the Aberdeen goal. Watkins had another good chance before half time when he scurried in behind the Aberdeen defence but blazed his effort well over. Whilst the Aberdeen defence wasn't looking to clever the Dons attack, whilst quiet on the whole, still looked threatening on occasions. A clever lobbed ball by Hayes found Rooney in some space but, under pressure, he dragged his shot wide. Rooney then headed past the post from an Aberdeen corner as he ghosted in unmarked and fortunately ICT escaped on that occasion. ICT took the lead when Watkins was able to send a cross in from the left flank which Ofere headed towards goal. Scott Brown failed to hold onto the ball and fumbled it to Ofere who, whilst lying on the ground, hooked his foot round the ball to fire it into the net to give Inverness the lead. The equaliser for Aberdeen was an exceptionally poor goal to concede from an ICT point of view. A McGinn free kick on the Inverness right side was whipped across goal and it seemed to evade everyone in the box before ending up in the back of the net. No idea if it came off Raven as some are reporting regardless it was still a very disappointing goal to give away. Worse was to follow a few minutes later when Aberdeen took the lead. Esson had initially saved well from a Rooney effort but the ball fell to McGinn who netted the winner from a few yards out. I might be wrong but I think McGinn actually took the initial corner and he followed the ball in with no ICT player picking him up. Again, very poor defensively from ICT on a set piece. After that Aberdeen easily controlled the rest of the game and looked comfortable for the remainder. Definitely not their finest performance but it says something that they can play poorly and still emerge with the three points in a 2nd v 3rd battle. ICT showed some great attacking play at times but poor finishing let us down badly today along with our well known problems defending set plays. The subs by Hughes were odd. I thought Ross and Christie were playing well when they came off but perhaps they were struggling after last weekends exploits. Definitely feels like a point or three thrown away as we now move on to eight league games without a win a run of form that drastically needs to be reversed if we want to finish third this season. The Scottish Cup run is fantastic but we can't lose focus on what we are trying to achieve in the league. EDIT: There were two big(-ish) penalty shouts for handball in this game. The first was when an ICT player slid across goal to block a shot and, with his arm trailing along the surface behind him as he slid, blocked a shot / pass. Logan then looked like he may have moved his arm to control a bouncing ball in the box. Neither was given and the referee was, coincidentally after last weekends shenanigans, Crawford Allan
  19. Should not have lost that. Strange subs from Hughes: Ross and Christie played well. Well done to the sheep for their support for Josh Meekings! Next week's games massive now.
  20. 3rd time this season we've outplayed Aberdeen and lost.
  21. Im done now -_- what the actual ICT
  22. omg Raven has gone scoring mad

put a nought after the one and we might be interested
  24. great save by Esson, shout for handball and Aberdeen penalty ... not Meekings was it ?
  25. Did you just get a Text read out on Off The Ball?
  26. Well my schedule has aligned so I'll be coming over from Ireland.
  27. So he can carry the triumphal ICT banner into the stadium like a gladiator of old in Ancient Rome. Now that WOULD cause a stir.
  28. Maybe he has had enough of the limelight at this point anyway and a change is as good as a rest. Need him to be both physically and mentally fit for the Final.
  29. To be a fly on the wall of Hampden H Q would have been fun. My guess when comments and pressure from the outside world including FIFA started to pour in. The powers that be got mighty nervy. It is one thing to support your champions and biggest team it is another to be pressurised by the outside world. There are signs that the pressures on authority we see in the T V drama " Blacklist" probably had nothing compared to what happened behind the scenes at Hampden. A few years ago a senior rugby player referred to the officials of the English rugby union controlling body as a bunch of old farts. Beginning to ring true of the people at the top of Scottish football
  30. Some incredible paranoia on show here which rivals that of some Celtic fans.
  31. Glad you brought up the apparently obvious Irish sound to these CO names ... I've been biting my tongue on that aspect so much over the last 48 hours that it's really quite tender lol!
  32. Interesting to hear that the original letter of complaint included a rant from John Collins about a conspiracy against Septic. Then we get the SFA compliance officer with the name Tony (presumably Anthony) McGlennan asking for Josh to answer the charge. If that doesn't sound like an Irish name then the Pope is not a Catholic. Add to that the previous CO was called Lunny, another Irish name, who said that Josh was guilty. So who was is the conspiracy against then? I would also add that I was told by various friends who listened to the BBC Radio Scotland live commentary and the Sky TV live coverage of the game that both were heavily biased towards Septic. So in the face of such adversity all I can say is GIRUY to all these twats!
  33. Can't believe it's 5 years tbh. Probably still my fav tbh. The Ship inn pre match, terracing, congas, 7 goals by 7 different players and the sermon from the stand. Perfect!!!!!
  34. When delivering papers to my 90 year old neighbour this morning she greeted me with a big smile and said "Meekings got off, they should never have tried to ban him from the final"
  35. Hopefully Meekingsgate will raise some support from the partially interested.
  36. wish we had her in our section instead of them bell ends coming in and trying to ruin what a great day out
  37. Peter Paul has one or two here http://www.caleyjags.com/pa/g/g.htm#A150419
  38. So the incident was outwith the jurisdiction of the CO. Seems a pretty elementary thing to check before going down this route. Looks like the SFA hoped we'd just suck it up and take their attempt to appease Celtic. Makes the position of the Current CO untenable in my opinion, as he clearly doesn't understand the scope of his powers or the protocols to which he needs to adhere.
  39. Ruling issued by SFA says club solicitors argued that as one or more officials had seen the incident the panel had no right to rule on the matter. This was accepted by the panel and the case dismissed. Over to you SFA to find out why the compliance officer thought he had the right to give a red card.

In an interview with STV Ryan saying he wants to stay at Inverness and learn his trade despite interest from down south. Old head on young shoulders and very refreshing to hear.
  41. What a clown Lunny is. By his logic we should now refer Zaluska for violent conduct on Ofere, unless you consider a punch that Mayweather would be proud of not to be violent conduct. ICT and the Board have shown the football world how to rise above all this crap, while Celtic has done their reputation no favours at all. Grow up - and move on!

  43. Cut the man some slack Sneckboy! I would suggest most people's reasons for adopting a club are circumstantial and not a political statement! Unless your dad takes you along you probably choose a team because you see them on telly or like the colour they play in etc. well done Buckett on baring your soul and making your confession in public....
  44. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32390325 Wonder who the 4 or 5 are that are likely to leave? Shinnie is obviously a cert and I think Watkins is too. I think most of the others would stay if they were offered a contract, but I wonder what's happening with Ross, Polworth, Devine and Raven. I'd be keen to keep all of them tbh, but I suspect that Ross, Devine and Polworth are getting a bit frustrated with their lack of first team action.

He scores when he wants, He scores when he wants. He's David Raven He scores when he wants. Some good suggestions above but as long as we get to sing "We are the champions" at the end, I don't really care what folk sing before and during the game.
