Given the weather and opposition on Saturday I was predicting a crowd of around 3300, when I got the note to say it was 3794 then my thoughts were that the 4 game ticket initiative must have been responsible for a good few extra bums on seats.

No idea of how many the club sold, but I think they were reasonably happy with the uptake.

Judging from the crowd, not that many have taken it up. Looking at the prices it isn't actually that good a deal, I'd be expecting the board to be slashing prices by more than an odd ?10 or ?20 (for an adult) to get the maximum amount of fans in the gates for these cruical games.

Hamilton for example let all their fans in for ?5 in one instance. Surely it shouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility for the board to let fans in for ?5 or even just ?10 for the next three games? Although it would lose the club money initially surely getting relegated is the worst possible outcome, and the more fans the better to give the players the lift they might need.

Seems to me too much money has already been spent on flogging this idea and advertising it as being able to to achieve a saving of 67%, when hat is only for the children in the cheapest area. I accept the board are trying but a better idea is needed to tempt the armchair fans to the caledonian stadium. Even on this website there are too many who don't goto the games for whatever reason (obviously geography being acceptable).

Talking to an old friend last week who stated that he couldnt goto the games anymore because of work business. Then he says that he goes to Man Utd games more than he does ICT games. Too many assume that the club and players don't need the ans support, and it was noticeable the amount of fans that stayed away at the midden game (including the section g singers) mostly because of either the weather or the opposition not being as glamorous as the old firm. Both of these aren't excuses, the game was arguably the most important played at Inverness this season.

The Club needs to pull something bigger than this out of the bag to entice the extra 2000 or so that we need for the final three games.
