Whilst out running along the tow path of the Caledonian Canal this morning,I noticed the 1st team training on the Charleston Schools playing fields. Is this the new preferred spot over Fort George?

Im pretty sure they have trained there before, i can certainly remember seeing them train there

Charleston was - at one point - part of the Highland Football Academy so they have trained there many times in the past.

The team train at a few different locations.  Fort George remains the primary training ground, but they will use other locations if the conditions underfoot are better suited to whatever they are working on.

They certainly seemed well drilled and looked quite sharp. Good to hear a bit of banter between a few players. :)

If you've taken all that in when running you will have to be careful that you don't run in to the canal.

Nothing wrong with training at a few different locations.

Falcon square might be handy for a quick training/ signing session during the school holidays. Or in front of the castle for media interest.
