  • I certainly had a good time celebrating it last year. Nice to have something positive and any silverware is very welcome. Don't understand the moans.

If you've got the cash burning in your pocket get along to the Partick game on the Friday or buy an ICT strip or just do something to support the club. They need the cash and far better you put it directly into the club itself some other way than going to a game that has nothing to do with ICT even if it is being held at our ground.

Mantis I’m surprised you’ve agreed to this, you probably go to more neutral games than anyone here.

I too am with RIG and Mantis. Especially in the light of what our most recent set of account will confirm.

Tickets for the game have been announced...and County get the ENTIRE GROUND. And Quay get that smidge at the end of the Main Stand for extra away support. But seriously, I can't see Dingwall becoming a ghost town while the whole population has temporarily relocated to the TCS. Doubt they'd actually be able to fill one stand, because from the derbies, they haven't filled out the South Stand on any occasion.

Doesn’t seem fair that Quay get the uncovered section. I don’t suppose for a minute they will be many of them but at least give them a roof over their heads. What happened to our highland hospitality

Ive just looked. Theyve got upper and lower F that are covered and the uncovered section next to that. Should be plenty?

However no room for neutrals in there then!

My mistake I thought it was the uncovered section  didn’t realise they had some undercover as well. Thanks

The roof in the main stand only covers you in the rear sections anyway - all the front sections get a good soaking in the rain...but a seat is a seat I suppose. Any idea how many are travelling up ?? Could be quite embarrassing when it's beamed out on three channels.

I hope our club is getting a decent fee for the use of the ground.

The £20,000 plus VAT that Aberdeen charged us for every game at Pittodrie would seem reasonable.

Have to say, it's been successful for them (the non Scottish teams), cos of the crowds the away teams take to their ground, it's the closest to European Football they'll get. But the amount that they take to Scotland is dismal, cos you would've thought Crusaders might have taken more than the just over a coach worth of fans here...

I was referring to when Crusaders came over last season, and how their support was maybe a little over a bus full, despite Inverness and Belfast having direct air links.

Does that mean you think they will give Ross C.unty a “doing” ?   Please get this on social media etc and then the numbers turning up will increase.   I just worry that a Ross C.unty fan may be in my season ticket seat and vandalise it.  Hope not.

you will only have to wait 3 days for a sniff of it so don't worry.

Might want to supply some disinfectant wipes for the home game following the cup final. Don't want to get some obscure Dingwall diseases...

I’m just a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

Just thinking about name of this thread. Is it still the TCS or has the T been removed now we own the north and south stands?

But perhaps you have a key?

He's got the secret...

According to R C website, they will be on sale tomorrow from mid-day until kick off. Come on Connahs Quay.

I've just spent the afternoon down at the stadium at the Irn Bru cup final. I bought a ticket for the Nomads section and met some lovely people and cheered the team on throughout the game. The fans put the County ones to shame with their singing (although they were quick to admit that they had a limited amount of songs) and they sang Caley thistle chants as well, just to wind up County. For a while Connah Quay were 1-0 up which I don't think they had really expected, but the fans continued to cheer the team on even after RC's goals and also at the end of the game. I would have loved for the Welsh side to win, and to those who wanted county to win just because they are Scottish, I say that if you are allowed to compete then you are of course perfectly within your rights to win if you are able.

I also think it is no-ones business but mine to suggest who I should support or what I should spend my hard earned money on, as one or two have tried to do earlier in this thread. I have everything I need interms of ICT merchandise and for those carefree souls who can do exactly as they please every weekend, not all of us are able to go to away games for various reasons such as other commitments, work, family or health issues. I had a great time, made some new friends and now have a team in Wales to keep an eye on.

Well done to the Nomads from Connahs Quay, both the team and the fans - for a wee club that only has about 200 fans at home games, they have done themselves proud and have at least one new fan.
