And do what exactly? Make us languish in the lower leagues for 18 years so that there's a novelty factor season ticket surge on eventual promotion to the SPL?7 points

Have to laugh at all the "Hate it because it's not stripes"....sound like a bunch of spoiled kids who throw the toys out of the pram because they wanted a red ice lolly but got an orange one instead. Nothing wrong with the orange one, it's just that it's not what they wanted, but suddenly it becomes disgusting and you'd think someone was trying to poison them with it.5 points

Bought my 2 season tickets and sponsored a player. Will probably be able to use the tickets 3 to four times a season but the club needs all the support it can get and if that helps I m happy to do what I can.4 points

CD I understand what you are saying but all this interaction previously about brand ICT and this is the result. If the club were serious about that then they would not be changing it again. Yes I like some others would prefer to see blue and red stripes as part of that identity but that does not appear to be the case. If our strip is going to be predominately blue (top, shorts, socks) going forward then fine but can the club just decide on it so that we can create a recognisable identity that is part of this so called ICT brand. I am sure St.Mirren, Kilmarnock and Celtic (Palace and Barca even) fans would have a similar response if their first team kit was changed to a similar design. I am with KB on this and I just think it was another lost opportunity by our club. God I would love to be at just one of these boardroom meetings to see what is on the agenda and how these issues are discussed. One thing is for sure at present 'one step forward two steps back' is just about right to describe those providing direction for our club. PS - I suppose nobody out there has access to any MoM - I need to be cheered up4 points

We have just seen our two top scorers move to teams who offered more money and cannot afford to replace these players is surely more accurate. Now that we have even less money then how do you expect this to get better?3 points

The clue is in the name. It is Ross County and not Dynamo Dingwall. The club pulls support from a wide geographical area with some significant areas of population such as Alness and Invergordon. Having said that, if they have sold 3,000 I would agree they have done well despite the novelty of a once in lifetime opportunity.2 points

As long as there's a weed in the clubs badge it doesn't matter one hoot to me whether the strip is striped, hooped or predominantly one colour whether that be blue, red, black or pink Having said that it's good to see younger fans in the city cladded in their locals team strip rather than teams from Glasgow or Aberdeen I appreciate that it's big business and a money spinner for clubs to sell replica tops but I feel that it should really be aimed for younger fans and rightly so, anyone over the age of 35 in a footie top looks like a roaster in my opinion It's that long ago I can't remember the last replica top I bought, these days I prefer to dress smart at the footie but in comfort I.e adidas, sergio tacchini or stone island Dougal2 points

2-0 Shane with a tap in after good cutback from doran found A Shinnie whose effort was partied by the keep straight to Shane. A Shinnies goal was a nice strike from outside the area2 points

Being a bit harsh. Looks like a guy who believes that Green has pulled a Whyte and wants proof he has all that he's claiming. I see the SFA are doing the same thing. I've no idea of the true situation myself but if we had Whyte then Green controlling ICT, then an ICT legend that looks like a thug (e.g. Tokely) shouts for ICT to be returned to the fans, I 'd certainly not shout them down.2 points

If it was left to me we'd end up with Blue and Red Tie-Dye The main thing is that sales seems to be going well...long may that continue.2 points

I wanted a striped shirt sure but not because "it's what I wanted" I think it's part of our teams (and fans) identity and something we should maintain and build upon. As I said I will still put money into the club but in another form, it'd be folly in the current climate to as you suggest "throw the toys out". Also I'm fairly sure my Dad will purchase one as a gift and so the club are not missing out financially. I'm surprised by your response, regardless of whatever opinion you have on the strip.2 points

I'm going.i have a season ticket but as I can't make the st mirren game I'm planning to pay at the gate.i no not everybody can afford to but if u can then that's a great way to help the club.also using the social club or stadium bar per/post match will help enormously.2 points

Of the SPL teams who have played more than 1 friendly, we are the only ones with a 100% record. We are going to romp this league.2 points

If Carlsberg did SPL tables: 1 - ICT 2 - Ross County 3 - St Johnstone 4 - Dundee United 5 - Hibernian 6 - Dundee 7 - Motherwell 8 - Hearts 9 - Kilmarnock 10 - Aberdeen 11 - St Mirren 12 - Celtic2 points

I'm gonna make a bid on this ebay auction, I can't make enough games to justify a season ticket, figure if I win the money back into the club may be worth it! (and I get a pint out of it!) http://cgi.ebay.co.u...e#ht_500wt_12871 point

There's no way they, or any club, is going to hold 1000 seats for general admission when they have people wanting to purchase season tickets. Good marketing ploy though....send out information that you might be about to pull the plug on Season Ticket sales due to demand and then sit back and watch as all those dithering or on the fence race to snap them up for fear they might lose out.1 point

I believe they were having some issues with the system today (not from the clubs end) and it looks like they are still working on it.1 point

Maybe the board's thinking was, bring out a different design and everyone will buy it because it's not just another one with stripes. It should be a 3rd strip/ training top. We're still a young team that needs identity. As dodgy as it is, at least Barca have stuck to the vertical design, 2/3 blue 1/3 red and it's still instantly recognizable as a Barca top. I think most would agree that we'd rather be the Barcelona of the north than the huns of the north. Even the Crystal Palace of the north!1 point

PS - I suppose nobody out there has access to any MoM - I need to be cheered up I get that and I don't disagree with the idea of creating an "identity" via stripes (or any other design). What I was getting at is that just because it's not striped does not automatically make it a horrible shirt....which is the stance some people seem to be taking. I'd like to see the wardrobe of these people to see if all their clothes are striped!!!1 point

I really hope we get a good crowd as a payback for the problems the club will face financially and I will be there. The people of Inverness (and beyond) need to put their money where their mouth is now.1 point
