  1. Again off topic, sorry, but I’m reminded of when a female work colleague returned from an overnight business trip to Islay where she spent the evening in a pub sampling the local malts. ”I woke up with the taste of peat in my mouth” she told us. ”Who’s Pete?!” was the response.
  2. That was a really good performance today. I know he gets pelters but Brad McKay played really well today. Some of the neat interplay between Allardice, MacGregor, Kennedy and Keetings was lovely. Thought Storey ran his b**ls off and always threatens but you’re 50/50 if he’s going to do anything with it. Well impressed with how Robbo worked on that team after the game last week. they really didn’t threaten. Workrate was excellent.
  3. Needed that laugh after the trauma of trying to get my iPad to stream the game! SPFL should come with a warning to those whose nerves get shredded easily. Even seeing the second half didn’t calm me down. Hoping I get chosen to attend next game, I don’t want to go through this nonsense of - error - try again, and again and repeat. Less stress being there, if I remember right, I hope.
  4. All the players worked really hard today. However, Kennedy offered something very special especially in the second half. We were very privileged to be the first fans to see a Championship game this season. Masks are brilliant - they stop 'supporters' moaning at our players. It is clap or nothing. Credit to the club for creating the facility for us to be the first guinea pigs. Credit to them for the load speaker announcements being audible and sensible. Credit to everyone who attended and respected the arrangements....and credit to the Raith team for never giving up and making this a great occasion...but no dancing in the streets of Raith tonight.
  5. Was quite unusual. Started off by queuing outside which took quite a while about 20 minutes to get in. They took your details checked temperature ID etc aTook my temp 4 times I was too cold 😀 not surprisingl it was freezing 😀 Finally got in and had to sit in the designated seat. Everyone sitting with masks on and I think there was a bit of uncertainty if you were allowed to stand or sing. Everyone jumped and shouted when we scored. Certainly a very different experience for sure but it was a nice touch when the team came towards the south stand and showed their appreciation as did Robbo. Overall extremely happy to be back
  6. If people got tickets but did not tell the club they couldn’t attend, in my opinion they should be excluded from all ballots until normality returns. Many of us would have been delighted to get a late contact with the chance to attend today.
  7. Comfortable win ultimately but despite squandering a few great opportunities we were never really troubled by Raith. Our defence was superb today with Devine and Brad Mckay on top. Harper was wayward with balls from defence but we never got punished for it and he got better as the game went on. Allardice is the find of the season, great engine and an eye for goal. Keatings showed his class at times and Miles Storey had a day of less bloopers. He really should have scored when he skimmed the top of the bar. His first effort which was also missed by our own twitter feed was a spectacular shot from 25 yards which crashed back off the bar. MacGregor sliced badly with the goal at his mercy but put in a great shift. Shane was maybe the quieter of our front men today. The wee man with the wee legs was again outstanding. He has the ability to beat any defender he wants. Tremendous close skill. A tanner ball player in olde money. Although we led 1-0 at half time, in terms of possession and ascendancy, we were not out of sight despite hitting the bar twice. Out of the blocks early at the start of the second should have seen us coasting but missed chances and good saves kept it close. Overall, we were worth the three points and good to see Welsh back on as a sub. The experience was just that. Bloody freezing and steamy glasses. However, it worked although I'm not sure I will be going down to my seat over an hour before kick-off. As for the streaming. Someone needs there arse kicked for this, probably at the SPFL by the sounds of it. North Stand looked to be about 50-60 South Stand maybe 120ish. Maybe the club will release some figures but looks like the main standers stayed away in droves staying at home to watch the stream instead. Hell mend them.
  8. Big fave of mine. Finished a bottle of the 12 y.o. a couple of weeks back which was down to £30. Boon na havvin. Mouth of the river.
  9. He's getting shown up every week since he signed for the wee team in the big league.
  10. I enjoyed that 2nd half, good movement going foward and solid it the back. Unfortunate not to get another couple of goals, Pity I missed the first 45.
  11. The email I received from the SPFL helpdesk. I am really sorry about the issues faced today, the technical issues have been immensely frustrating and not acceptable. We are currently working with our technology partner to get to the bottom of what went wrong, I will of course arrange a refund. Just as a bit of background, there are a few partners involved in making the stream work – Pixellot (camera), Openreach (Fibre) and StreamAMG (Streaming platform). The first few weeks we had issues with the Pixellot camera not tracking the ball – which we rectified by having a camera operator employed at the stadium. The Stream platform itself has been flawless for the last few weeks, and today unfortunately it encountered an error prior to kick off. Appreciate that doesn’t help the issue but just wanted to give you some context. Apologies again this has happened, myself/the club will be back in touch to confirm what measures have been taken following todays game.
  12. Very good performance in the 2nd half. With better finishing we could have won that by 4 or 5. Really good work rate throughout the team and for someone who is recovering from injury, that was some shift Miles Storey put in. Thanks to the SPFL, I can't say I enjoyed the 1st half.
  13. I managed to get a response from the email support and told them it seemed just to be ST holders. 1 minute later folk were posting they could now get on! It seems unbelievable that they might have blocked our access just because there are ST holders at the ground - but!
  14. Today was a great all round CLUB performance. I was lucky to be one of the 300. The team were excellent with no failures, Kennedy and even Brad caught the eye today but all in all we were right at it. A big thank you too to everyone from the meeters and greeters who took our temperature and checked our ID to the oft maligned stewards who all contributed to a very good afternoon. Well done everyone and thanks.
  15. Is that you only home now? Dirty stop-out! Surely it didn’t take you that long to get out the stadium?
  16. I received a ticket but not wanting to go replied via email and phoned the club and they said someone else would get to go in my place he also asked if I wanted to be included in the next ballot and I said no thanks to allow others a chance to go.
  17. *** WARNING - OFF TOPIC *** 😇 Lidl have a 16 y.o. Islay for Xmas at £34.99. There's a forum I'm on where most folk seem to think it's a Bowmore.
  18. One of my favourite Isla malts. I'm no Gaelic speaker, but I think it is easier than it looks, something like, "Boona habin", as if the second "ha" were not there. Enjoy
  19. Apologies it’s not bruichladdich. It’s a whisky from Islay no idea how to pronounce. Very nice though
  20. Coll giving away yet another penalty 😂😂😂
  21. I really enjoyed the second half, and I’m sure I’d have enjoyed the first two had I been able to see more than just the last three minutes of it. We controlled the game and were rarely troubled and should have added to our tally. I agree about Allardice, he is a find and it will be interesting to see if we can fit him, Welsh and Carson all in when they are all fit. MacGregor did well in central midfield too. The defence coped very well against a team that has scored a lot of goals. Good to see Keatings and Storey getting game time and both seemed lively. I hope we keep Kennedy for the full season. After the last two league wins, we should look to continue climbing the table and really be in the mix for a play off place. At least the next game is live on tv so we don’t have to worry about issues with the stream. I assume it was the SPFL’s fault and they sent me an alternative link at 1615, more than half an hour after my own link was working. We need an explanation and apology. Looking at the stands, surely more fans can be safely accommodated as many sections were empty. I will be interested to see what those there made of it all. Onwards and upwards!
  22. Very comfortable in the end. Some nice interchanges midfield to front. MacGregor and allardice played very well in the middle
  23. For sure!! forgot to add County were playing vs 10 men
  24. Promotion would be sweet if it was achieved through an aggregate win at Dingwall in the play off final.
  25. Roughly about 5 pages on this thread talking about live stream
  26. Really sorry to see so many of our fans locked out of the streaming. We've played some good stuff first half. Still need to be more clinical though.
  27. Stream kicks in just as the HT whistle goes Shove this streaming lark right up your arse.
  28. Chrome not working for me. Seriously pxxxxd off.
  29. And give us all a wave! Remember you're on camera - and no attempts to distract the AI, please
  30. Hope the 300 doesn’t include too many sweetie rustlers and they can cheer the boys on to 3 points today 😜

Congratulations - he's beautiful. Our new little grandson Max is sporting a strip too, but as he is in Portsmouth it may be a while before he gets to a game.
  35. Is it a ploy by SPFL to make everyone pay whether season ticket holders or not. I wouldn’t put it past them.
  36. I’m on my iPad and like many others getting ‘error generic’ message. This streaming service is a joke! Except I’m not laughing....
