That was pretty nearly half an hour of airtime on Caley Thistle this afternoon. I have to say that I thought that Andrew and Nathan were absolutely superb on the programme - articulate, extremely well informed, passionate about the club and, in common with many other fans I’ve rubbed shoulders with recently - a credit to ICT!5 points

Heading to Germany now. Uefa have refused permission to take micks flag in to Munich stadium as they say its to big. Ill still try and get it in but I'll hang it with pride all over Germany.4 points

Another example of just how badly run the Club is. If CEO is working his notice, surely that would be one of the issues he should be sorting out. Shambles upon shambles!!!!!!2 points

Just reading in media that Kelty are saying ICT haven't told them the deal is off.... Do we have the worst communication of all the clubs in Scotland? Surely it's just common decency.2 points

It's a bit like what Grassa said about the Chairman post - Who in their right mind would want it ?2 points

Ferguson has been an absolute failure for us and I'm still hoping he leaves of his own accord before the new season starts, freeing up a decent-sized wage. He may well be pondering his options - whether to bleed the club dry for another season, knowing that if he also fails at this level, his future is not in football management, or quit now before he further damages his management reputation and hope there's some other gullible chairman willing to take a punt on him because of his "celebratory" status. In pleading his case he may well use the same story as with his previous club, that his success was hindered by off-field shenanigans!2 points

I think we can all agree on one thing and that is that there needs to be communication from the club and the supporters trust on what the way forward looks like.2 points

Duncan Ferguson should have done the right thing and resigned after the Hamilton debacle. No pay offs , severance pay, nothing. He should have held his hand up and admitted his failings when trying to build a team out of lower level loanees. This was an absolutely awful experiment doomed to failure and the financial repercussions are now coming home to roost. We have lost a whole season of developing young players the likes of Bray, Hyde etc for what..... Relegation. FFS I know we lost Deas and Allardice but the nucleus of a capable squad was still there. Capable enough to avoid relegation anyway.2 points

Don't know who has it but thought I'd ask. Heading to the euros and have been fortunate enough to get a ticket for all the games. I'd love take Michael's flag to the games. Totally understand this flag is sacred to caley die hards but I would look after it.1 point

Insult to injury is they've taken the foreign sides out of the Challenge Cup...but kept the reserves in. Only real thing to look forward to in the season, a jolly away to the other end of the UK. Absolute calamity merchants the SPFL, binning off any appeal the trophy had left.1 point

I fully understand,I have been looking at the forum for a while before registering an account .. some forums are nonsense and not worthwhile so certainly I have seen some comments on various posts across the year . To your point about what amount .. that will be dictated by what the club needs to go forward , I appreciate that everyone has a threshold in terms of what they can put in . I am not saying people should be putting themselves into debt to help the club . My point was that the season ticket money and merch money only kicks the can down the road and buys some time, the club needs its fans , for example how many fans went to the cup final last year ? 8k maybe if half of that commits £50 that's 200k .. there is ways to raise money from the fans . There needs to be a sustainable business model which will ensure that there is a club to support going forward and the fans have a massive part to play here. As I said before the fans wanted dodds sacked it happened the fans wanted robbo gone it happened the fans wanted Kelty move reversed it happened the fans wanted morrison out it happened the fans wanted Gardiner gone it's in the process .. time for the fans to back the club here and it needs to sustainable investment outwith season tickets .. either that or more than 1000 folk need to buy season tickets . The attendance figures attending matches is very poor and has been since relegation from spl . Yes the product on the park isn't great but that's what it is with the resources the clubs got . Time to back the club1 point

The Supporters Travel Club is delighted that in the past week the Kelty nonsense has been brought to an end and the C.E.O. has resigned. We realise that there is still a hard road ahead of us but once a certain individual has cleared out his desk and left the building for the last time we shall be renewing our season tickets and sponsorships. We shall continue to run buses to all away league and cup games and as always we are here to help Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club in any way we can.1 point

Keeping the club afloat is exactly what the fans and the Supporters Trust is trying to do. It wasn't a case of administration or Kelty, it was a case of which of the 2 alternatives was less damaging for the club. Whilst the Kelty deal was presented as a way of avoiding administration, the club didn't provide a shred of evidence to demonstrate that it would. Fans presented plenty of reasons why it wouldn't. Kelty was Gardiner's plan and it is he who threw the **** at the fan (and the fans!). The fans are trying to help clean up the mess. The club desperately needs more money and Gardiner has alienated so many of the very people who just might provide it. They are not wanting to pump money into the club if it is simply going to be thrown at the latest ill thought through, harebrained scheme which ends up damaging rather than benefitting the club. The fans and the Supporters Trust are not fighting a battle of who's in what position, they are simply urging the club to make sure the biggest barrier to future investment in the club is removed as soon as possible. Gardiner has never wanted fan engagement. From the beginning, the Board were duped into thinking that with his background at much bigger clubs, Gardiner would have the ideas and experience to make us an established premiership club. They meekly went along with his ideas, including ignoring the Supporters Trust. The Board are culpable here, but the fans are being pragmatic enough not to be calling for the entire Board to go. Moving forward must include having a democratically elected representative from the Supporters Trust on the Board. Had we had a fans' representative on the Board when Gardiner was appointed, we wouldn't be in this mess now.1 point

Could we not have sold sections of the pitch to fans to raise a few quid?! The grass in my garden is from Tannadice - the first owner was a Utd player and helped himself to it at the end of the season.1 point

I think the question needs asked to the club .. what keeps the wolf away from the door and then what do we need from folk going forward.. outside of what's expected from ST and Merch. I just think if there is a business model which is sustainable then the fans need to be part of it and the hearts set up sounds just the way forward of ensuring fans have a voice and the board has additional money . There is no Roy Mcgregor here , the fans have called for Morrison Gardiner to go Kelty carry on to stop and Robbo and Dodds to go the fans have won that war - the same fans need to dig deep if they want a club to support .1 point

We did not continue player sponsorship last season mainly because of this man. This site has sponsored a player for the last 25+ years, either personally by me out of my own pocket for the first few years, or via a group of the users on here, or sometimes both. We always tried to sponsor young local lads as they sometimes did not get the same attention as bigger names. We are proud to have sponsored Grant Munro through his entire ICT career, from youngster on the bench to club captain until he left ICT, and until last year, had been doing the same thing with Cammy Harper who it seems will unfortunately (for us but not him hopefully) take the same path and leave ICT. Once it has been confirmed that SG has handed his keys over and left the building for the last time, then we will be happy to have that conversation with the club about reinstating sponsorship of one or more players and will try to get as many people on board with it as we did before, provided the club are keen to work with all supporter groups and bodies (Supporters Trust, TWS, CTO, Travel Club, and anyone else) so we can all pull in one direction for the good and benefit of ICT FC. #TogetherNESS #INverNESS1 point

If we survive this horror show, I really hope the emphasis will be on the recruitment of local players with a bit of passion and loyalty to the "Inverness" brand.1 point

Glad he is gone, should’ve happened the day after relegation, but also glad he is working his notice because there is a complete void in the club now, so fair play in that respect.1 point

Still a long way to go but I am back to fully supporting the club and hope we can survive in some form.1 point

I think he was going straight into a board meeting after the pod interview. Possibly happened at that meeting and was then formalised next day?1 point

Wonder now if any of the vocal critics will be stepping up with £1.5m to keep the club afloat?1 point

Annan Athletic is definitely on my horizon, I can get the West Coast mainline train from London to Carlisle and then its half an hour from Carlisle, probably an overnighter in Carlisle. Dumbarton is also an possibilty, obvs will still try to get to home games. I felt once we ended up in the relegation play-offs, we were unlikely to beat Hamilton. Annoyingly we missed out on safety by small margins, as we did promotion play-offs the year before. I see quite a few blaming the players for having no fight, I'm not sure thats true, tactic's seem more to blame, and as I said several times lack of a proper winger. [Shaw and Longstaff could probably have done the job, but Shaw was used as a centralised player-maker before his injuries, I thought Longstaff showed promise but was out injured too long too] We had some injuries, but I still think a team that included Devine, Savage, Boyes, Harper, Kerr, McKay, Alex Samuel, Duffy, Gilmour, Laval, Ujdur and Anderson should have been good enough...I never really understood why Bray was allowd out on loan either, he seemed to be the stand out player at the start of the season. Ferguson managed a new manager bounce, but seemed to run out of ideas quite quickly. Still we got rid of Doddsball.... I wonder how people who wanted him out feel now, was that the right decision with the wrong replacement? I kind of understand the reasoning behind using Kelty as a training base, but obviously also understand why that rankles, it might ease one problem, but what happens to the youth team? Frankly the size of our home crowd, is always going to be an issue from the financial point of view, I just wish I could win the Euromillions, but until then, it seems hand-to-mouth stuff Anyway hopefully ICT can keep going, it might be a slow process to get back to the better times, but hopefully we will come back stronger...eventually1 point

Buzzing for a trip here. Last time I was there was for their title win in the East of Scotland League. I didn’t once think we’d be playing them never mind thinking we actually might lose this!1 point

I also thought Charles mentioning recent threats to the local press indicate Scot Gardiner very much still running the show? He has previous for this I'm told0 points

Radio Scotland did a piece this afternoon on our predicament, as Charles had mentioned. It included him and a couple of fans including Moff from the podcast. No real news, as nothing at all is coming out of the club at the moment much to everyone’s frustration, but Moff indicated a belief that Wednesday is administration day unless an investment completes before then. It was also suggested from his discussion with a football finance expert for the next pod that it is 50/50 whether there will even a club at the end of this.0 points

You’re probably right. Pre season training should begin in a couple of weeks time, so hope someone is busy trying to lure players to the Club. Maybe that’s on hold until a new investor / buyer is found as there is no other money. It will make the time tight to get any new team up and running before the first competitive match.0 points

Maybe a couple of the 777 Partners who backed out of buying Everton this week might stick a few £K behind us! Maybe that’s what DF is currently up to. After all his instructions from Ross Morrison were indeed to go and find any backers/ players/ Help!0 points

The club will need £300k+ immediately to pay creditors. They'll also need sufficient funds to cover operational costs/shortfalls and a high likelihood that we could be due Kelty. There's then any money directors have put in that they may want back in order to relinquish control. We've been led to believe Ross Morrison has put in £1.5 million but have no idea how much others have put in. That's at least £2 million to wipe the slate clean but it's likely be a good deal more than that. With the club facing the very real possibility of administration and no guarantee anyone will bail it out from that then adding 1500 creditors to the list by selling season tickets they may not be able to honour would be irresponsible.0 points

Excellent news. I'm glad the boss -eyed weasel has gone. Very good of him to work his notice. He could do that from home and as far away from our club as is possible. I wouldn't allow that orange rat anywhere near the club now.-1 points
