  1. I don't think it is the time tbh. I've not donated and I don't plan to unless there's some coherent plan beyond 'give us £200k to keep us going another few weeks, and suggestions to solve the ****-show we've been at the wheel off for years on the back of a postcard please.'
  2. If there was a clear achievable plan and this £200k meant that we would be back on an even keel for the foreseeable then perhaps more folk would be interested in donating. Maybe that will come but any kind of sensible approach would have the plan outlined before the plea for more cash to the fans you've ignored and maligned for half a decade. I don't think the target will be reached in any case if I'm being honest.
  3. Why is there even a question over whether certain people (fans) have donated or whether the Supporters Trust have donated even being asked? Whether in jest or not, this is not the time to be singling out individuals and diverting attention from the actual cause and from those who are the only ones who the attention should be on and being questioned and that's the BOARD! Personally, I haven't donated for varying reasons but that doesn't mean I'm wrong in not doing so. Every ounce of anger and questioning and feeling of doubt and ill-feeling should be fully thrown at the board (members past and present) for allowing the situation to get this bad. Every single one of us, every single fan, has something to lose in some aspect whether it be financial or otherwise. The Supporters Trust, like every other shareholder, has something to lose so if you're going to question the Trust over funds or allocation of funds, where's your questions publically of every other shareholder that has a vested interested in the club? Or is it merely that the Supporters Trust is an easy target as at present, other that the board and AS, they are the most visible and therefore an easy target?! Be angry at the right people. Question the right people. The people who have caused this don't want that to happen, they want your anger deflected elsewhere.
  4. Tesco? Every little helps
  5. Personally I think we need clarity re the go fund me first? Is this money just going to be swallowed up into the black hole of debt? The ST cannot just change the rules to suit our current predicament imho
  6. As if we are not enough of a laughing stock and to make matters even worse, Arbroath's goal was scored by a man with no head. Unbelievable Jeff... <<< It Reilly was, honest Gav...
  7. You never know, a highly successful meeting on Monday evening giving us lots of honest answers, along with an exciting vision, ideas and plans from the board, may very well ignite a swell of enthusiasm and confidence to donate to the cause and see the target smashed!
  8. Is donating to the 'Go Fund Me' not a bit like buying a First Aid Kit at Tesco, handing it in at Raigmore, then hoping that'll help the NHS?
  9. If you take out the 20k donation to Go Fund Me, there are now only drip donations. Unless something more dynamic happens, the 200k target does not currently look achievable. Tomorrow night's meeting may generate some significant extra publicity so it will be interesting if some recent Directors help hit the target in the last hours leading up to the deadline. I may just be a little pessimistic at this early stage.
  10. Wee bit sexist Dougal, but much as it breaks my heart to say it, you may well have a point on the other issues you have raised.
  11. Stronger Together was set up specifically to buy shares in the club, and the funds raised are ring fenced for that purpose. In recent weeks, the Trust has funded the revamp of Bar 94 and supplied new signage, including the updating of the main sign at the stadium to reflect the 30th anniversary.
  12. I agree. I've spoken to a lot of folk waiting till a bit of clarity in our situation. Hopefully tomorrow night
  13. Back to winning for the women today and a clean sheet.
  14. These people only know money and every thought and decision is driven by this measure. Morals or any past responsibilities to the club (never mind local suppliers or fans) does not come into the equation. They will do whatever is in their own financial interest. With the sums we are talking about here, ask yourself if you would be any different?
  15. Given the club's current predicament , in my view, all opinions and, by extension, potential solutions must be listened to. A limited capacity meeting restricts that and is not particularly 'open'. Again I would ask if a larger part of the stadium could be utilised?
  16. Not personal abuse merely an observation so calm down girls. My take is we should just accept administration which is inevitable liquidation may well follow. If I’m totally honest I actually applaud Bannerman for not contributing to the go fund me account no one in their right mind would plough money into the club at the moment if the debt figures being flouted are correct. Sobering thought but that same money could fall into the hands of Gardiner or Ferguson or for any else that is owed money it’s certainly not going to save the club. The Inverness business community won’t touch us with a barge pole at present and a large swathe of the city population don’t want anything to do with us. Start again and regroup regardless at what level that is with a possibility of a rebranding to Inverness United/City or simply InvernessFc. The ICT brand is damaged beyond all repair whether we like it or not. The Go fund me debacle should have been set up for funds after administration so the new club in whatever form had something to build on. Dougal
  17. ST can change the articles no problem and then put it to a vote to the people that's put £ in and it's job done not as hard as you'd think. In terms of the go fund me I think it's pretty much cast and died either the club finds £ before the next home game or its administration. Administration will be an absolute catastrophe people will lose jobs livelihoods and in all likelihood the club will enter liquidation due to lack of assets to obtain money from . That means the academy and the community trust becomes irrelevant as there is no progression line for young players as there is no club to link it into so there is a lot on the line over the next two weeks.
  18. Having got home and had time to reflect. £200k, £2m, £2.50. The value is irrelevant, you can’t buy desire and a will to win. We just don’t have either.
  19. Ferguson and Bollan have been in charge of a full time team for 14 months, They train the players with motivation and tactics day in day out. You might have noticed we score very few goals, If we could score 1 goal per 6 chances we would not have been relegated. We play mostly part time teams with a pro squad and we still can't score. The buck rests with the manager. And yes i am annoyed and frustrated with the shitfest on and off the park. " We can’t counter attack we have no pace in the team. We get up to the full backs and no one can go past them to the bye line." You have answered your question.
  20. It’s OK Snorbens…. it’s Dougal…. it’s just the kind of bitter and frustrated curmudgeonliness from him that we have all come to know and expect. Cut the poor soul a bit of slack since there’s clearly not much else in his life if you deprive him of the anonymous abuse on here which is his only opportunity to feel as if he has achieved something.
  21. Another way to look at it is that if you remove the £20k and work out the average donation it is just over £30. With £135k still to raise that requires around 4500 further donations at the same level as we've seen so far.
  22. Well done, girls. Great to get some good news.
  23. Realistically, is it now time to look at transferring our loyalties elsewhere? Easy enough for me - many years ago if Caley were playing away (from Telford Street) I was quite happy to head down to Grant Street and lend my support to Clach, a team for which I still have a soft spot. With the possible demise of our team, the additional revenue from a thousand odd displaced (and disillusioned) ICT fans could help make Clach a viable contender for the Highland League title and then the Scottish League playoffs, just in time to move operations to the vacant Tulloch stadium. A lick of white paint and we're ready to storm up the leagues again!! 😂
  24. The troll has had enough attention., banned from topic.
  25. I agree that all opinions and potential solutions should be listened to, but the reality is that a large meeting is not the best way to do it. Meetings are time limited. If, for the sake of argument, a meeting was held outside in the main stand with around 500 people present, you would end up with less questions being asked then if it was inside as planned. There would be time wasted with people running round trying to get mics to people who want to ask questions and the usual issues of people not hearing things and asking for things to be repeated. Mechanisms are in place so that all opinions and ideas can be listened to. The club has given a contact email for money saving ideas and the Supporters Trust is collating questions. This will allow questions to be screened so that the most relevant issues are raised at the meeting and that others are addressed ASAP with the answers made public. Individuals are also free to post their questions and ideas on whatever social media platforms they subscribe to. Having said that, I believe public meetings have a real value too. Directors are seen to be standing up and directly responding to the club's supporters and being accountable. It gives an opportunity for more detailed explanation on a handful of issues and for some comeback on what they say, but with the best will in the world, there simply won't be time to properly answer all the questions people might have. I would have liked to have gone to the meeting but I have a prior commitment. I've submitted some questions to the Supporters Trust and am happy that they will find their way to the club.
  26. Alan Savage has intimated that clearing debt owed to suppliers was prioritised and it has not been mentioned as still outstanding in the last couple of statements. From that I take it that the only outstanding debts are what is owed in director loans and maybe Puma. HMRC will have been cleared as SFA/SPFL will penalise for that regardless of admin or not. If we were to choose the administration route then it would be those who have provided the loans to decide our future as they would need to agree terms on a CVA for write off or repayment terms. If agreement can't be reached then we would be liquidated. That would mean assets handed over in settlement or selling to the highest bidder. That could remove any potential claim in battery farm proceeds and put carparks further out of reach. Either way it places the clubs future in the hands if past directors. Can they be trusted or are they financially able to ensure the club isn't liquidated? I still edge towards admin being the way to go. As is we are slowly sliding towards oblivion. Admin just means that decision is taken now instead of it dragging on and hoping for a miracle. It's doing that which got us here now.
  27. I 100% it is most definitely morally wrong but this club was formed on immoral principles I just can’t see a sudden about turn and change in direction can you ? There are many to blame for this shambles not just the present or outgoing board. I saw this day coming a long time ago if I’m being honest Dougal
  28. Always amuses me when you appear it coincidentally goes with United going well. Angry wee man Davie just like your hero Dougal
  29. Out of interest did/do you contribute? You could write and ask for it to be transfered? This is your view but might not be one the other contributors share? This money might be better utilised in the future? My opinion
  30. Who knows its gives a month to find potential investors doesn't it ? Appreciate what ur saying regarding kicking a can down the road but there is literally no point having funds sitting there doing nothing if the club requires them
  31. We do have some good players for this league. In days gone by Pele was able to motivate players who like many subsequent managers put teams out who punched above our weight. After the cup final against Celtic - just out of interest for those attending on Monday night 'what happened to the £1m plus windfall?' - we have not seen good players producing for the city or shirt. And I do not blame them.
  32. 1 point
I think it's very telling that not one former player , manager , assistant manager etc has made any donations to this fund - there is something going on behind the scenes I believe which is stopping these individuals from donating, there was up roar ( quite rightly ) on here and on Twitter recently about Doran having to pay for his own treatment despite the fact he was out of contract however you seen players and former managers pump a few quid into his pot to help him . There is now a situation where the club have the begging bowl out on its knees basically and not one of them are willing to put money in in fact they are literally willing to see the club die than put money in . Very telling !
  33. Amusing too! Just the thought of somebody wasting time scrolling through 1000+ names just to see if Charles has donated, and completely failing to grasp that Charles might be one of the large number of people who donate anonymously!
  34. I’ll be getting paid at the end of this month, I’m not too sure our players will. I wonder if this affects performance at all? They certainly have more important things to think about. I don’t really get the whole full time part time thing at the moment. These clubs can cherry pick the best of the part time players while we get what ever we can afford. Falkirk were in this league for about 6 years as a full time team and they are a bigger club than us. Without the financial difficulties it would probably still be hard to go straight back up at the first attempt. That’s not where we are though, we are facing administration and our signings for over a year have proven to be not good enough.
  35. Only 2 wins off the top spot !! And 27 games left👏🤭
  36. Thanks for the reply. The question was what tactics would YOU suggest. Not seeing that answer anywhere. Are you a politician by any chance.
  37. After watching our latest capitulation I've resigned myself to administration. We're going down with this clown in charge so we might as well take the point deduction and wipe the slate clean. Morrison in the Director's box today got a "warm" reception from the away support....read the room Ross!
  38. Down to 9th. Remember, folks - especially on Monday night - that the Board's financial projection for this season assumes that we will finish in 2nd place
  39. If Ferguson would maybe stay at home and donate us his fuel money towards our 200k he’d be killing 2 birds with one stone . His coaching and tactics are certainly killing us big time . .
  40. First Half An early shout for a penalty in the first minute when Watson brought down debutant Charlie Reilly but nothing given. A recycled ball after a corner in the eighth minute offered Paul Allan a chance but Aidan McAdams somehow clawed away his header destined for the bottom corner. Charlie Reilly looked eager to please and the keeper had to deny his effort from outside the box. Billy Mckay might have done better after getting behind the defence but the keeper made a good block to deny the ageing striker. Arbroath's first effort of the game came in the 28th minute with a powerful Fraser Taylor shot from the centre of the box but it was straight down Musa Dibaga's throat. Ten minutes before the break, Luis Longstaff was next to have a go after cutting in from the right, but his shot was kept out by McAdams assisted by his post before the resultant corner was cleared. Just before the break Mckay missed the target and Charlie Gilmour had a shot blocked as the visitors finished the half with a flourish having had the better of the first forty-five. HALF TIME: 0-0
  41. Or your DIBAGA hats to Keep Inverness Safe Again!
  42. Wind yer neck in Dougal. Have you heard of the word anonymous?
  43. May I say a BIG thank you to our trusty away supporters who follow the team around Scotland, over hill and dale, through thick and thin, to keep cheering the boys on. Despite all that is going on at home, a win today would do wonders for morale in the team and the away fans can hopefully help this to happen. Hopefully they will also find it in their hearts to give DF a wee cheer for his 'voluntary work' with the club. Best of luck to the team today - keeping the faith. C'mon Caley
  44. If it is being filmed by the Pixelot camera, could I kindly request that any baldy heided attendees wear a hat!
  45. I’m not sure there’s many clubs that have performed well while struggling financially and ending up in administration. No ones turning this around this season and It’s damage limitation now.
  46. The young teams have done well this weekend. Congratulations to our U14 North Squad who are the newly crowned North Plate Champions. Double cup success today! Congratulations to our U16s who are the new North League Cup Winners. Well done to all the players and coaches.
  47. We are running a bus to Livingston on 12th October leaving stadium at 10.00. Picking up in Aviemore and Pitlochry. £20 a seat. Book through Facebook or on 07462218717
  48. That's us down to the playoff position! When will donut Ferguson realise it's his tactics that are failing. Jeez this is getting worse. I can see you are annoyed but how does missing chances, hitting the post twice, losing a goal, losing the game fall on the manager. we got in a striker, who hit the post 2nd half , it's down to the players when they cross the line. Are some of them good enough for league 1 level? 55 to 45 possession to us. 11 shots to 4 to us. 3 on target to their 2. Bit of a clue there what tactics would you suggest. We can’t counter attack we have no pace in the team. We get up to the full backs and no one can go past them to the bye line. go to Dodds ball, hoof ball I think most would agree he is playing his strongest 11 available every week.
  49. No sign of a donation from Bannerman No surprise there then Surely he could gather a few quid from his beloved social club or the blue and red phone box down the Longman Dougal
