New song

12th Man

OK I know its totally different  maybe sung a bit slower and at a lower pitch from the original.

Can we get away with Florence and the machine.

Say my name  'CALEY'
And our colors illuminate
We are shining
And we will never be afraid again

Say my name 'CALEY'
And our colors illuminate

We are shining
And we will never be afraid again

Say my name 'CALEY'
And our colors illuminate
We are shining
And we will never be afraid again

And when we come for you
We'll be dressed in red and blue
With the ocean in our arms
Wipe your eyes and kiss your palms

And when it's time to pray
Deanos dressed up all in grey
With metal on our tongues
And silver in our lungs

Say my name 'CALEY'
And our colors illuminate
We are shining
And we will never be afraid again

Say my name  'CALEY'
And our colors illuminate
We are shining
And we will never be afraid again

Say my name 'CALEY'
And our colors illuminate
We are shining
And we will never be afraid again

And when Essons at the back he'll be dressed all in black
And you'll scream my name aloud
And we won't eat and we won't sleep
We'll take the honours from every ground

So say my name 'CALEY'
And our colors illuminate
And we are shining
And we'll never be afraid again

Say my name 'CALEY'
And our colors illuminate

Say my name
And our colors illuminate
We are shining
And we will never be afraid again

Say my name 'CALEY'
And our colors illuminate
We are shining
And we will never be afraid again

Say my name 'CALEY
We are shining
Say my name
Say my name
And we will never be afraid again

I don't know how much money you'd have to pay me to hear me say the phrase "with the ocean in our arms, wipe your eyes and kiss your palms" out loud.

It's pretty terrible BUT you had the courage to even attempt one which is more than could be said for some (I'm looking at you Mr C. Young)

My song idea goes to the tune of Manic Street Preachers-Your love alone is not enough

It's Caleeeeey Thistle

Right enuff, Right enuff, Right ennuuuuffff

When Caley scooore

It's Right enuff, right enuff, righ ennnuffff

The whole "Right enuff" thing had been in my head for ages after listening to the song and with a bit of effort I think it could turn into a good wee funny tune.

We'll be dressed in red and blue

With the highlands in our arms

Say no to clothes pegs and lucky charms

Love it! Chuckled away to myself.

Banter at football is what makes it. Childish humour, but I remember as a 16 year old watching Ipswich v Oldham (don't ask) and the Oldham fans struck up the "give me a teeee...eee"...since when did Oldham start with "t"? The next letters were I, t and s. The next line was "and what do you do with t!ts?" "Oldham, Oldham". Maybe you had to be there and be an adolescent boy, but it's rare to see 20,000 home supporters fall about laughing and applaud an opponent's song
