I think some folk are being rather unduly negative.  Sure, we weren't at our best but let's give a bit of credit to Falkirk who are a much better side now than the team that beat us here earlier in th

Big game today, a win could potentially cement us in the play off spots and keep us too far realistically from Dunfermline catching up. Cannot allow ourselves to switch off like we did against Alloa though as Falkirk will not be as lenient. Got to get ahead and keep pushing for more, bodies on the line no complacency. To start dropping points now after all the hard work would be disastrous. Hope Welsh being out is not hugely detrimental

It’s a really important game for us today. Given the league table it is a game we should win but Falkirk are fighting for survival and will bring a sizeable and vocal support with them. If we are in any way distracted by the prospect of the County game on Tuesday or the forthcoming semi final then we will likely get beat.

We really need the fans to get behind the team today and help keep the momentum going.

A poor game that. Neither side deserving of a win. Missed opportunity for ICTFC . ?

Bloody horror show from start to finish. Slightly more threat when our useless forward went off. For such a big unit he's a bit soft in the challenge.

Hearts will be looking forward to playing us.

Dreadful performance all round.Do they really want promotion? One pathetic shot on target in 90 minutes says it all. Play like this on Tuesday and we will get hammered.

That game had 0_0 written all over it after 5mins. So it panned out. Caley could and should have snaffled it 1_0 but for some good goalkeeping and poor finishing towards the end. Bit of a scare late on when falkirk nearly stole it. Hope for a better game Tuesday.

Listened to some of the commentary.  Sounded like a really poor game/performance.  Pity our good form of late disappeared today , especially as County and United both lost. Hoping for better things on Tues night.  We are still well positioned for a play off spot, so lets hope we can hold on to that. And of course, a couple of great performances at Hampden could still turn a mediocre season into an exceptional one.

Onwards and upwards.

Absolutely brutal...

That was fan abuse.

Last 10 minutes when Austin and Walsh were on we looked a wee bit more dangerous, But poor finishing and lack of composure let us down.

Maybe we're keeping fresh for Tuesday?

A very poor game but, with the Pars losing last night, we are actually a point closer to securing a play off place.

Much more effort, skill and commitment needed on Tuesday.

Not a great spectacle.  We lacked the sharpness we have shown recently but we were generally pretty solid.  It was a better performance than a spectacle because it was a game where defences dominated.  When we were a bit bolder going forward at the end we nearly nicked and would have done so but for some back to the wall defending.  A bolder approach earlier on might well have paid dividends.  For the most part our defence looked very solid and the highly thought of Zak Rudden barely got a touch.  It might turn into a valuable point for us.

Falkirk did their homework. We never got going. They came for a point and got it by looks of it?

Big week ahead. Lets pick ourselves up and move on.

Lastly special mention to the totally inept ref  Hope we dont have him again for a long while.

Ref poor caley poor falkirk tried hard

Hard to tell which team was up challenging for playoffs & which team was battling to beat relegation.

Terrible advert for the Beautiful Game today. Highlight for me was when the sun briefly came out just before half time other than that nothing. MoM for me was Charlie Trafford covered every blade of grass and went looking for the ball at every opportunity.

Absolutely nothing to write home about apart from the last 10 - 15 minutes when Trafford of all people skipped down the left flank and poked the ball in to McHattie who flashed a shot wide. Then Polworth, who perhaps had a better chance to score, teed up Doran who saw his goal bound effort blocked and the follow up shot from Polworth was also diverted away from goal.

Falkirk could have stolen three points right at the death when Lavery tried to flick a loose ball past Ridgers who saved at the second attempt.

All in all a thoroughly dull and forgetful afternoon.

I think that will do as the full match report RiG.

In all honesty, the final sentence would probably suffice.

Coll Donaldson MotM by a mile for me. Always going to be a tough job and they needed the point more than us. Given the other results it's an opportunity missed to pressurise those above. That said it's another hard earned point.

Lots of wee kids in the north stand today - must have been some tickets out to schools. Quite nice to see them running around , a bit of singing going on too.

A welcome addition to the fan base, for a day at least.  Filled some of the spaces in the stand anyway, and I think they had a better day out than us older ones!

We seriously need to up our game if we want to get promoted, let alone beat County on Tuesday. I genuinely hate to say it, but the way we played is not how to keep us in full time football, and if we miss promotion this season. We're back to part time.

Do you have a source for that?

Source or not, it's a logical progression if we continue in this division with heavy losses.

Next year? Not so sure, but it will come.

Wow-sounds depressing!       Hopefully the team will pick up  after a good sleep and so will the output. Otherwise County may initiate  a heavier defeat which will undermine the team's confidence. Anyway, it's………... onward and upward.:clapping:
