Do you want another one? No? Well here goes anyway.

Which trialist winger didnt get a deal from us but went on to become a bit of legend in his home country, racking up 57 caps and 7 international goals, as well as numerous league titles.

Another question. Which former ICT player had a spell as a PGA professional golfer?

Ben Greenhalgh.

Need more clues for the trialist...

Dan Wagaluka

Yes. We wanted him but cited work permit time lags and costs as the blocker.. Wagaluka blames his agent for not getting a deal over the line.

We clearly made a positive impression though.

“The one moment I remember was at Inverness in Scotland. It was a dream come true for me playing for a European club, but also the organization of their dressing rooms was phenomenal.”

Yes. Played on the French island of La Reunion  for many years and one season his team qualified but lost 4-3 on aggregate to a South African side in the first round.

Do you have a source for this as he was my first thought and I could find nothing to confirm he'd played in the competition.

The information I can find shows the highest the team he played for finished in their league was 5th and that would not have qualified then to play.

Aw, isn't that a lovely thing to say.

Changed days now, although I do remember that the team was renowned for their happy dressing room and their support for each other back in the day. And it showed on the pitch too as ICT rose through the divisions.
