Hey guys,

Many of you might well be aware that officially, Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland aren't actually individual countries, and are infact united among one common flag - The United Kingdom. Well, there are some of us that are not for the Union, and are striving to gain independence for our respective countries, as we feel that we are getting a bum deal.

One such party is the Scottish National Party (not to be confused with the racist BNP) and recently, the youth wing has launched the "TXT4SCOTLAND" campaign. This follows on from Cymru X (The Youth Wing of the independence party in Wales) hosting the very popular idea, and to hopefully reach out to the hearts and mobile phones of Scotland.

Now I know that many of you are American, or from a country other then the UK. The SNP have been attempting to gain independence from a regime that is sucking Scotland dry. You think the oil situation in Iraq was bad? Scotland used to be the oil capital of Europe, until Thatcher got her hands on it, and ever since then, we have been repressed and our oil stolen. If we had gained independence in 1979 (which we should have, save for some stupid 80% rule) then we would be among the worlds welathiest small countries, and maybe even the wealthiest, due to our oil stocks.

However, Thatcher decided that England could not afford Scotland to become independent because of the Oil reserves, and so blocked every move that was made, and activly seeked to diminish our reputation north of the Border. So, I bring to you this campaign, to see if the populous would want an independent Scotland - and I ask whether you are from England, Wales, Ireland or Northern Ireland, to vote. You will be helping a grateful nation who, for too long now, have been opressed and held prisoner become free.
