Astro Trainers / Boots

Happening.

I've got football starting again soon on astro / rubber crumb surfaces and need a new pair of trainers / boots for the job. Any recommendations? Not wanting to spend too much. About ?40 should do it I think.

I find that the air-cushioned sole, sure grip, and strong metatarsal protection of these beauties does the job perfectly on hard artificial surfaces !

Does anyone wear those plimsoles any more these days? I remember when we were at school we used to be made to wear them in place of our outdoor shoes when in class.

In Nairn we just had bits of cardboard tied on with string for shoes.

How about something a bit sexier?
