The piccy was taken circa 1926. The boat is the paddle steamer Fusilier, built in Paidley in the 1880's and used by McBraynes.

A standard 10 coming up the very steep slipway with an Austin 10 (I think) on the ferry in post 86.  Commer minibus which were still being produced well into the 70's, British Telecom had them including the vans and a hightop version that was not very stable!
