Caley Tartan

Hi Everyone,

i hope some1 out there can help me, in what seems like a never ending quest..... i have been trying for months to get information, and a sample of the Inverness Caledonian Thistle official tartan! i have tried the club shop, who ignored my numerous e-mail, even marketing and merchandising didnt answer me, even tho i know they read my e-mail, as i put a read receipt on it!!! i was directed to the Highland house of Fraser who are meant to make the tartan, and even they denied all knowledge of it!!! i know it exists, as I have been told a couple of directors were in the Highland News wearing it, (my family still live in Inverness, and they are season ticket holders), but even they keep drawing a blank!! If i dont get answers soon, my fiancee will kill me, as she cant plan much more without knowing what my kilt will look like!!! :019: please please someone help!!!

Mee, ur a wee star!!!! if i wasnt getting married already in the caley tartan, hopefully, id marry you lol!!! now i dont want 2 push my luck, coz u have no idea how much i appreciate the reply already, but does any1 have a website addy for further viewing, or booking, etc? :021:

When I worked for Hector Russell I worked with Ian Broadfoot at the club to put the tartan together.

It was produced and woven by MacNaughtons of Perth who also trade as House of Edgar. They also retail through the site www.tartankilts.com. They would be the best people to speak to about it as they can weave it and sell it to you but i'm not sure about their minimum amounts for weaving purposes.

Two Scots, Archie and Jock, are sitting in the pub discussing Jock's forthcoming wedding.
