If it's at Culloden, there are a number of fantastic sculptures carved into the trees, like chainsaw carvings, really well done and quite intricate as well.

I have to ask....are you referring to the following? The tree nearest to camera has a bush to the left of it. There is a tree directly ahead of that...with what appears to be a grey looking stone to its right....is this to which you refer?

Here is a pic taken from the net somewhere, but this is one of the carvings at Culloden, there must be half a dozen of these carvings along Culloden Drive, behind Barn Church Road from the shops to Culloden Hotel driveway.

Are you serious TM4TJ, there's actually a carving of the Gruffalo in Culloden? Will have get my wee girl up to see it sometime.

A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood......

The guy who sculpted these is Iain Chalmers who won the recent carve Carr-Bridge competition.

Some incredible pieces of wood on display, worth looking at if you have nt seen them yet.
