Debateable if you are entitled to your opinion if its as moronic as that and quite frankly if the best adjective you can think up is **** (whatever that may be) sums up your contribution. Guess you were one of the 'supporters' today who failed to recognise we had a weakened and makeshift team out today. We have played worse and won, from the start we had people complaining about everything the players did, this negativity does get to the players, Couple of people in the north stand along from me kept a stream of criticism of players and manager probably thinking they were spreading their footballing wisdom but really just showing them to be the fools they are. If you don't want to support your local team through thick and then then get on a bus to Glasgow every second week and depending on which particular scarf you choose you will support a team that wins every week, suggest you pick green for the next 4 year then change to blue, don't throw away your ICT scarf as you will want to come along to the cup final every 10 years or so. We had a great season last year, we are having a more challenging season this year, but that's what supporting a smaller team is all about, So man up, and support the team. Now is not the time to change the Manager, financially we cant compete with many of the teams around us, we are not an attractive proposition for an established ambitious Manager. If we are successful we will lose players and have to be realistic we are a selling and rebuilding team. This does not mean we cannot have moments in the sun, we are the Scottish Cup holders, its March and we are still in the cup, we are established in the SPFL and not in the relegation zone (yet) 20 years ago at the start of this journey this would certainly be seen as positive.

Do you not think this has become extremely tiresome? Whether it's on here (under a variety of usernames), P&B, Facebook or some Tartan Army forum, you're obsessed with demanding people's sacking. Why? We hit a bad spell (no matter what the circumstances or the success we've had previously) and as predictably as night follows day, you come in with posts that almost make sound like you're screaming at your computer screen. At the start these meltdowns were funny, but now this obsession seems to have become sad, predictable and pathetic.

And the $1,000,000 question must be " Why can't we eschew the ineffective, self-defeating possession game for the remaining fixtures and adapt the direct, aggressive, assertive approach that we saw in the final 20 minutes against Hamilton - and Hibs in the cup" ? We do not appear to come to until we are feckin behind !!

Think some of the comments are harsh to say the least. Form has been poor as of late but the lads did not deserve to lose today. When you see the way we absolutely battered Hamilton in the last half hour, it reminds everyone what we're capable of. The trouble is, it takes going behind for us to get out of second gear. Totally agree Alex. While stats may say only 1 shot on target, plenty off target due to very poor shooting but at least we were trying. Over the piece, we were by far the better team and did try to create things. I thought we were a lot more direct and using width especially through Williams in the second half and the sideways passing was much less in evidence today. Baffled by those who think the team lacked fight, it was definitely there but this was one of those days, we carried no luck and deserved something from the game. We have played worse and won. Really need to scrape a result from somewhere now and the game against County would be just the place to start. As for the poster who said Hughes was wrongly complaining about the throw in, he wasn't and there were several decisions that the officials got wrong on the stand side all afternoon although nothing major. As for Hughes joking and laughing with the Hamilton bench with a few minutes to go, I sit right behind the away dug out and don't recall seeing that, a case of someone having an unwarranted dig at Yogi. As for Hamilton, every time I have seen them they are an astonishingly dirty and unsporting team. Ref was conned into Devine's booking by the Hamilton player, Morris I think, rolling about as if badly injured then up and running into the box for the free kick. Kurtaj was another who dived at every challenge and won free kicks. As for Imrie, don't get me started. While some of Hamilton's antics amy be called streetwise, I hope we never follow there example.

Agree a strong Ross County not good for us . Not enough support ,sponsorship, etc for 2 successful Highland clubs.

Good to have both cups in the Highlands I hope both clubs can get together to show them off. Both Cups up here are a great advert for football in the Highlands. We dipped after our Cup final defeat. There's still a lot to do but County have just given us a helping hand for Wednesday night. Im also pleased for our neighbours it was a big thing for us last May so it's a big thing for them now, however I would have probably felt more envious if they had won a Cup before us.

Another reason why it's not going to happen is that Hughes and Rice are signed until the end of the 2017-18 season. Sack them now and we wouldn't be able to afford a new manager or any new players.

Yogi was given the sack......he filled it with all the toys Shaun had thrown out of his pram.

Hibs win on penalties, get smashed celebrating and forget about the replay on Wednesday. County are ruined and can't raise themselves against ICT next weekend and are crushed 4 - 0 in Dingwall. Oh, and a few injuries suspensions (if that's even possible) as well please.

I hope the Hibs pump them after extra time and possibly penalties. Any County victory will largely be detrimental to us.

Went into the game fearing the worst, bluntly it was a pretty dire game and not of the quality which you would expect to see in the top flight division of any country. As has been said before, we're lucky that there are other teams in our league who are equally bad/worse and although I'm fearful of our survival, there's certainly hope. I genuinely thought Richie was miles away from fitness given that he wasn't put on at all during our last couple of games but it looks like he's back, and the timing couldn't be better. Definitely gives us a glimmer of hope. Hughes evidently played up front simply on the basis that he's a very tall chap, and on that basis I don't want to be critical of his abilities, but he should never have ended the game there when we had Foran, Storey and Roberts as options. Didn't look threatening at any point of the game, but I don't doubt that he's got a lot to offer IF played in the correct position. Our makeshift defence did ok (in relation to my expectations anyway). Admittedly they were barely tested. And they conceded more than Hamilton's did... The timewasting and injury feigning antics were attrotious, summed up by Canning waving wildly to Imrie to go to the far touchline - moment later the subs board went up, no surprise that the number 7 was on it to come of... Great tribute to Ross from the fans, including the Hamilton ones.

A devastating result for us today. How I wish we had players with guts like Hamilton. Hamilton ain't pretty on the eye but at this time in the season they will win ugly whilst we try and weave nice little patterns in our own half. We have zero penetration going forward and it mystifies me how Hughes can't see this. Seeing Ritchie back and looking hungry, fit, lean and mean is the only positive from today. Horner our best player today for me and even although we must have let half of the kids in Inverness in for free we had a very decent crowd of 3,500. Such a shame the team couldn't lift their game for tomorrow's fans.

I can't remember the last time I left a game so demoralized. Both teams were utterly hopeless - the difference between the two was that it was us who made the blunder that gifted them a goal. We only ever seem to concede goals either from set pieces or from giving the ball away within 30 yards of our own goal. It would be nice if opponents actually had to work a bit to score against us. Once they got in front, Accies were properly cynical - lots of niggly fouls, lots of injury feigning, unbelievable time wasting. Good for them. They're fighting for every point because they're worried about going down. Our lot need to realize that they're in a scrap to avoid eleventh as well - they don't seem to have twigged yet. Yes, we were short of players today, but it's not as if we were playing kids. These guys are all seasoned professionals, and too many of them were **** poor today. I'd give Williams and Horner pass marks for effort, and Fon Williams didn't do anything wrong. The others were rotten. My faith in Yogi was badly shaken today. The tactical plan was poor from the off - Wedderburn was constantly outmanoeuvered and outmuscled by Carlton Morris, a rubbish striker who has scored three goals against us this season and just one in his other twenty-four games. Draper in defence would have been far more sensible. Playing Hughes up front was laughable in the first half, as we kept punting the ball over his head; when he made it stick, he never got any support unless Roberts was racing up to support him. In the second half, when the game was open (and far more conducive to our passing play) we instead subbed off Roberts and brought on Foran to play up front...and spent the last half hour punting straight long balls. We had been on top when they scored, for god's sake. Of all the times to ditch your principles, this was the worst by a mile. When we eventually got Storey on, we stuck him out wide where he couldn't get into the game. It was also embarrassing to see Yogi berating the stand-side linesman when they scored - because of a throw-in he gave against us in their half a full 90 seconds earlier. Firstly, it was the right decision (not that it stopped the folk around me giving said linesman dog's abuse for the rest of the game) and secondly, it had nothing to do with the goal we conceded. Pretty pathetic. As for the laugh and joke he was having with the Accies dugout with a few minutes still to play, well I'd prefer he was concentrating on us! Not good. Not good at all. There's a lot for us to worry about.

bit of an overreaction on here but it is definitely very worrying now. By the way some are talking we are already down but I think Killie will be our saving grace. Who says the cup is a distraction? We win on wed and the fight for places may help our league form and will stop the rot which may just save our season. But the lack of goals is seriously worrying but we have what we have we just have to find away to claw ourselves to safety. I agree though that we have to move away from this possession style and go more direct. The radio made it sound like we had a lot of chances near the end so maybe things might change but we need it sooner rather than later.

My big concern is that successfully fighting a relegation battle requires a certain style and mentality: Tigerish defending, quick transition and snatch goals and points from any scraps you can get in the opposition box. This requires good crossing and a decent centre forward. Trying to play passing football and score perfect goals is suicidal at this end of the league. So, will Hughes abandon the "keep possession at all costs" to save our season and would the players be able to adapt anyway? My guess is he won't, in which case I'm afraid we, and he, deserve what will surely be coming our way. Sometimes you have to put principles to one side for the greater good. The time is now - 7 points will be enough, but they'll likely need to be scrapped for and won ugly. Foran might just be the man!

Another shambles of a performance against an equally poor Hamilton. The difference between us and Accies, is that they took advantage of thier limited chances....we didn't. !! It was good to see Foran on for the last 20 mins.

Kilmarnock might be the only thing that helps us. It's not all over but it is looking bleak. Need to get safe and look to build over summer. Hughes or not I'm not sure. i always think you have to give time to a manager, he has now had time to do his own thing and it has worked in parts. Recently it has look d shambolic. Possibly due to injuries etc but I'm not convinced it's all down to that. Maybe last year was on the back of what was already there and with the quality of players we had. Time will tell. need to get behind the team now and help them.

I never understand posts like this. Look at our form over the last 8 or so games. We are not on a good run and are not playing well and creating little of note in these matches to excite the fans. Despite this, I don't think anyone has said they are not behind the team or not supporting them despite this sticky patch (EDIT: Apart from Mahonio and he doesn't count anyway). Posters on here are simply voicing their concerns about these recent performances but they're still supporting the side.

Result: Inverness CT 2-0 Dunfermline Athletic Dean Brill kept a clean sheet this afternoon, on his competitive comeback.

ICT have confirmed arrangements for a 1 min applause at the 30 min mark of tomorrow's game in respect of Ross. Please share and encourage everyone to support this welcome gesture from the club.

That's an interesting summary, FoolPhysio. We took 7,000 - 8,000 supporters to the League Cup final, suggesting it's anything but a 'wee' cup. We don't mobilise that sort of support for nothing-games! At the time, it was our first major final - County had been in the Scottish Cup final v Dundee United, but in the build-up, there was absolutely no reference to us only being in the 'wee' final. Any distinction was simply labelled, 'our final' and 'their final'. You've either got a very short memory or are feeling a tad bitter that County have a 'major' (your words) cup final at the weekend.... Thanks to the wonders of search-engines, here's a post from you, word-for-word following our semi-final win against Hearts - and let's not forget, this was after 'just' the semi-final of the "meh" cup! 2nd Feb 2014 Brilliant, simply brilliant. Only the final between us and our first major tournament trophy. And am I pleased that I wasn't the only one with tears in my eyes and a lump in the throat immediately afterwards!

A 'wee' Cup that we were gutted not to win at Parkhead a couple of seasons ago...

Injuries are due to our style of play. ( Good English may be owing to our style of play ) If you dally on the ball and kick sideways the opposition know what you are up too and close you down. This means they catch you with heavy tackles. If you play Butcher style and get rid up field quickly defences don't press but retreat to cover the long pass. Hence you don't get caught with the ball . So I feel the style of our play is contributing to our many injuries. Teams have got used to our style this season, last season they were taken by surprise, now they know we we won't punt up field they are on to us like a ton of bricks. With regard to Hughes he has passed his sell by date. Maybe not this season but he will eventually take us down. He took over from Butcher ( a dirty word ) but he inherited a decent squad, That squad has started to disappear, and the replacements are not as good. It can be seen at Newport too, which after Butcher with the new manager has started to win games, true the new manager has turned them around, but the salient test it is the players Butcher left and sorted out. Some replacements like Tansey and Fon Williams are good , but others are not. Another point I would make is the tactics are poor. I will give one example. We were winning one nil in the cup final, with a few minutes left. We got a free kick on the edge of the box, what did we do?. We attacked, virtually all our players went up field . Well you know what happened the free kick was cleared we had one man back, Falkirk broke on the counter, professional foul, resulted and we had a sending off. Bad tactics in the extreme, never criticised because we got the win. It happens all the time. The team is not trained to shut the stable door. Sorry for the diatribe, but I am fed up with the way the team are playing.

Just a thought, we could do with the Hamilton physio to help our injured players. When their players wend down rolling around in severe pain today she came on gave them a wee rub and they were up and running about within minutes

Seriously Kingsmills? Gutted? Disappointed yes, gutted . . . not quite. There is a reason it is called the "Who Cares Cup". In terms of prestige, we hold THE one worth winning. I would have been more gutted had we been in two cup finals in successive years and not won. Thankfully it all worked out beautifully. We lost one year on penalties (lots, really), and won the following year with a creditable performance. Happy with what we achieved. As for C*unty winning the above . . . meh.

We're going down. Really upsetting to see us regress so much, especially after last season.

Cant see us surviving we needed to win that game to have any chance I cant see us winning any of the games after the split and we certainly look like we will be in the bottom six.
