M80 Stepps To Haggs Project

A80 Major Works Mollinsburn Interchange.

Demolition of Mollinsburn Road Bridge.

From 6pm on Saturday 27th November 2010 until 6am Monday 29th November 2010 the A80 will be reduced to one lane Southbound and one lane Northbound. These lanes will operate in a contraflow over the new M73 link bridge.

The A80 Southbound On slip at Mollinsburn will be closed and the diversion route will be signed.

From 6am on Monday 29th November 2010 the two Northbound lanes of the A80 will travel over the new M73 link bridge onto the new A80 Northbound carriageway.

The two Southbound lanes will travel on the existing A80 carriageway and the A80 Southbound On slip and Off slip at Mollinsburn will be open to traffic.

Drivers using this road between 6pm on Saturday 27 and 6am Monday 29th November 2010 are advised to allow more time for their journeys.
