Dan Butler

Read a rumour on twitter that we're looking at Dan Butler, a 20 year old left back released on a free by Portsmouth.  It would be the type of player we would go for.  Doing a wee bit of reading on the internet, it looks like he has a bit of potential about him.  Was looked at by championship clubs at one time and got in the Pompey team ahead of ex England left back Nicky Shorey.

 

Like a lot of things on twitter its probably rubbish.  But you never know

Can't say I know anything about the guy but the Portsmouth fans on Twitter seem to rate him and are disappointed he was released.
