Well, in view of the time that he has hollered for one and waited for recognition for all his efforts one would imagine that he got a full settlement of his contract remuneration after being canned  a few moments ago wouldn't you?

He was burnt out, his boss was sick almost to death. Whew? Gretna may be a jinxed place to be. Hope Davie Irons can at least get them going. :024:

Rumour has it that the managerial merry go round is about to hit Gretna ........

The suggestion is that Steven Kenny will be sacked by Dunfermline soon and that Davie Irons will take his place. Irons played for Dunfermline from 88-91 and made 109 appearances for the Pars. With the Gretna job vacant, the next rumour is that Robbo will take over there and that Kenny will go back to Derry City ..........

80 - 90% of the rumours you read on P & B are rubbish by the way...

Wasnt the only place I heard it ! but would agree that most rumours on there are taken with a block of salt  :004: This one however does make a little bit of sense .....

I can't see how it does myself. The Pars cannot afford to sack Kenny and replace him with Irons who is doing a great impression of a clueless buffoon. Not content with almost destroying Gretna's promotion hopes last season he seems destined to take them down with the lowest SPL points total ever.

Surely Yorkston cannot be that oblivious to what he has "achieved"?

I know, what chairman or board wouldn't look at a managers achievment before employing them.  Why would you take on a manager who has taken a team to the bottom of the SPL and can hardly pick up any points! :004:
