  1. Nobody should underestimate the depth of our problems right now. Relegation would be irreversible: ICT would return to part-time football. Even if we stay up, the word is that we'd have one more year to get back up, otherwise the result is the same. The core problem is that the support is evaporating with every passing game: even the die-hard support is collapsing. Why? The players show no heart, the management continues to flounder and the Board continue to stumble from one shambles to another. What's to like? It is really, really hard to find a reason to go to the games - they are not entertaining and you leave with the feeling of being cheated out of the entrance money. My concern is that there are zero signs at any level in the club for the decisive action necessary to turn this round and to bring the support back on side. I confess that I'm genuinely terrified about our future and each week that passes is another nail in the coffin.
  2. The buses are run to enable fans to go and support their team. For various reasons many who use the buses would not be able to do this if Supporters bus was not available. Also there are many users, myself included, who could travel to games a lot cheaper but chose to pay more to help towards costs. If you don't think getting fans to away games is a worthwhile cause then don't contribute. In the same way I don't contribute to causes I don't support. We have been given this date as nobody else wanted it and rest assured if a worthy charity decided they wanted to use the date we would step aside.
  3. I have watched football in Inverness for 50 years, and I can say that was the worst game I have ever seen. You see more entertaining games down at the Bught, where the players are playing for the love of the game. This is the worst ICT ever. We have no plan A, never mind a plan B. I really don't know where we go from here.
  4. That is the worst ICT team I have ever seen. We are horrendous.

I am no Robertson fan but any new manager coming in would have to be a magician to improve our position with our current squad. You can't make honey out of hens sh##e.?
  6. Absolutely pathetic. Calder came on and did zilch. He jogged around doing nothing. What a waste of a wage. Oakley is horrendously poor, Baird is a headless chicken, Vigurs thinks he is better than he actually is, Polworth is a lightweight, the Canadian chiel is heading for a record amount of bookings, Raven is finished, Donaldson mispasses practically every time, Brad is honest, but that's it. Who,s left..... others were equally inept. It is just as well OFW was in good form. Completely outplayed by QotS and they should be ashamed to call themselves footballers. Not enough boos at the end for my liking. Totally disgruntled. We should have lost 3-0.
  7. Home my pain is now over! That was possibly the worst match i have ever been to No Organisation No Skill No Shots on goal entire 90 minutes and we paid £40 for the pain Sorry but with displays like that we are relegation material (again) and The entire Management should leave immediately
  8. I won't be benefitting but I've no problem with it. If a charity has been told to GTF then obviously that's not good but there is nothing to suggest that this is the case. Surely it's a good thing that any collections will help cover the cost of travel for fans going to an away game? Especially if it makes it cheaper for some of our younger fans to get along.
  9. I've read a lot of stupid things on here over the years and this is right in the top 10.
  10. At least we had the consolation of comedy moment of the season when a QOS player managed to put a straight free kick, not just over the bar but over the South stand as well.
  11. Cannot believe anybody would take any positives from an undeserving point at home. Although having been turned over by Livingston and Dumbarton then maybe I am not seeing the bigger picture. Having the misfortune to sit through the last 3 matches I can safely say we are totally f@@@ed. The players look unfit , disinterested , leaderless and generally just rubbish. The management trio the same with added bonus that they have absolutely no idea how to change the game in our favour. Think the well worn plan of bringing the game changer that is Mulraney on for the last 15 minutes isn't gonna work.
  12. Shame on you for posting such a ridiculous post!!!!! You obviously know nothing about the aims of The Travel Club and what is in their Constitution, our aim is to support the team and encourage members of the community, especially the young, to come along. The Travel Club work really hard at raising funds with many local businesses supporting them, nobody has to give money if they don't want to, as one of "the bucket rattlers!!!!" today I was touched at how supportive fans and visitors were, some actually dug deeper when they realised the cause. We asked the club for a date that was free so we did not deny anybody else. Please get your facts right before you post!
  13. No width No pace No Drive No Chance !!!!!!
  14. Which garden ornaments charity is getting the heave-ho for the travel club?
  15. We are having a bucket collection at stadium tomorrow so bring plenty change. We are also selling raffle tickets in the bar for a chance to win a seat at Carl Tremarcos table on Sponsors Night on 17th October. As well as the chance to meet the players.

    He has to go! Simple!
  17. I have just seen the sats, no shots on target and one corner in 90 minutes of professional football is embarrassing.
  18. Fitness clearly a problem again today amongst many other things. Created very little in the first half but absolutely nothing in the second and just like last week the opposition finished so much stronger.
  19. First game I've been to since the Dundee United opening game, and it'll be the last. Cannot tolerate another 90 mins of that torture
  20. Shorty.......surely the nickname must apply to the amount of brain cells you possess! Must be the lead contender for the most ignorant post on CTO this season.
  21. Created absolutely nothing in the game. We have a team of zombies! Disgraceful.
  22. OFW saved us in that match with a couple of very important saves. Other than that the rest a pile of pish.
  23. Must admit, my thinking was similar prematch. But no, that was one of the dullest matches I've ever witnessed.
  24. So, the list of positives from that reads: 1. Clean sheet 2. ......nope, that's it.
  25. In my opinion I think this is the worst Ict team ever. Thoughts?
  26. Those of us there todayall need a lager night!!
  27. Can we all agree to stop touting TB for a return - it's not funny anymore...
  28. I will probably do just that
  29. Poppadom, chicken tikka balti pilau rice and a keema Nan. Seems healthy to me though my lager might have tipped me over the edge
  30. Yet until very recently he looked one of our better players. What's happened (perhaps behind the scenes)?
  31. I started to notice it the other week at Paisley, but I'm starting to see the Calder the Dundee fans talked about turning up again. Definitely has some ability but a poor poor attitude. He did nothing when he came on. Either tell him to buck up or get lost.

I thought he was trying to encourage the team and give direction, possibly at the expense of his own game. Perhaps looked different depending on where in the ground you were.
  33. One of the worst games I have ever witnessed. Did we have a shot on target, I don't think so. Oakley and Baird simply do not work together as a strike force, they are totally unaware of each other's positioning. After a couple of months playing and training together they would surely have built up a good working relationship, if they had any ability at all. I see at least half a team who do not want to be in Inverness or at least that is the way it looks from the stands. I could only exempt OFW, Bell and Donaldson from criticism today, the rest clueless, gutless, average and just not interested. The alarm bells must be screaming in the Boardroom as we are heading for a second relegation if this continues.
  34. if you feel that bad why didn't you go to the shinty final?
  35. Players with no heart is the major concern. Like others have mentioned, we have signed journeymen who are used to lurching from one club to another, more interested in their own egos. We used to gamble on young hungry players untested at this level. They had hunger, this lot are stuck in a rut. The togetherness within the dressing room appears to have gone. I would happily go to games knowing the players have given their all for the club and each other. Last week made it evident several players do not care one bit. It makes it hard to feel a bond with such players. I will still go to games in hope more than anything else for a change, but with each passing game, I fear the situation with these players will simply end in disaster for the club.
  36. Have to agree, its brutal to watch these days
  37. Agree OFW shone above the rest, says it all really, so disappointed at any lack of fight or creativity in the team. I really can't see where we are going to get results from. Severe lack of any commitment from this team.
  38. Where are they? Are they still alive? I remember fondly the optimism after Seedorf's first game. I left today thinking ... i don't know if / when i want to bother going back through again. Where is the passion for the shirt! A team almost entirely made up of journeymen marking time. Depressing. This early on and I expect us to be relegated ... I had hope until the last game last season.
  39. Thank xxxk brechin are in this league !! I went to clach park last week and this week and seen clach score 14 goals with 2 clean sheets, very enjoyable and only cost £4 to get in, now that's value for money?. ??
  40. charitys have being watching the football this season so far so i would have thought they would be the ones telling the club to GTF
  41. The performance was what it needs to be at this point and not what we want it to be. After being easy to score against since the last year we need to become harder to break down. All three centre midfielders were deployed more conservatively than in previous games and in general we looked more solid. From this basic we will need to progress however it is worrying if we have to depend on Oakley and Baird. I don't think we have had a weaker front line in any previous season.

    Thanks for that.

i no the real reason how he got sacked but will not talk about it on here
  44. Think thats what the supporters need at half time...
  45. You omitted to cite Alf Tupper in support of your argument.

.....to everyone who came along to the MacMillan Cancer event at the stadium this afternoon and helped raise a fantastic £320.29 ?

I don't think that we will finish bottom this season and thus be relegated automatically. Fortunately for us, Brechin appear to be out of their depth in this division and will probably occupy that place. However, under the current manager and coaches, I can increasingly imagine us having to play off to avoid successive demotions. That will be no easy task as, unlike the Premiership, these play offs are not rigged in favour of the side from the higher tier. I don't think action needs to be taken just yet but if things do not improve substantially over the next half dozen matches or so a decision has to be made. However, there will be a financial dilemma. Can we afford to terminate the contract of yet another manager ? Or, given the consequences of carrying on regardless like last season, can we afford not to. It was a strange move and a huge gamble to appoint a manager who had been out of the game for a decade and who had failed in his last two positions. Sadly, as he seems a decent and personable man, it looks more and more like that gamble has backfired A club of our size has no divine right to success and a place in the top league but I do think we have the right to expect better than being humbled and humiliated by Dunfermline and to suffer successive losses to Livingston and Dumbarton.
