  1. The Samuels sub and his mood at coming on summed up the farcical Ferguson reign. A manager woefully out of his depth having to turn to a player he's completely marginalised over the last few months in a desperate attempt to save his skin with said player completely demotivated. Another masterclass from Big Dunc.

  2. That was just terrible and the worst thing about it is that I'm not even angry right now. I just feel complete apathy as we've been heading this way all season. One of the biggest games in the clubs history and that's what we produce. Gutless, spineless, hopeless. It was galling to see so little heart on display but we shouldn't be surprised with so many loan players. They don't have to deal with the consequences of this. If it wasn't obvious before then it's crystal clear now that Duncan Ferguson is no manager. He needs cleared down the A9 tonight. From bizarre selections, ostracised players and bringing them in from the cold (Samuels anyone) and the spectacle of completely blanking players in public its clear that management is not for him. I have no idea what's going to happen now but the CEO can join him ona one way ticket South.

  3. Ferguson should be fired immediately and he can f'ck off down the A9 along with Gardiner.

  4. Well reality is setting in now I'm afraid Div 1 if the club actually survives. These last few games have been dire.Hamilton looked dangerous everytime they came near our goal.On the other hand we rarely looked dangerous and we could be playing now and still not have scored any more.To many negatives about tonight's performance to list. The best team won and we got what we deserved for a horrendous season. We just never looked like a team with a plan.In fact we never looked like a team.So sorry for all staff impacted. At least we only saw our team demoted. Many will have lost more, most likely their jobs. What an absolute mess. What a shambles the board have overseen.

  5. The worst day in the club's history by some margin.

  6. Even before considering any merits or otherwise of either, it would be ludicrous to have people on their salaries whilst in League 2 so both have to go, I just hope we can afford the payoffs without it putting us into administration..

  7. It's very clear to see its a team of individuals and journey men. Loanees who aren't good enough that we've panicked in bringing in as we needed players. Our lines are non-existent, I could go on but what's the point, deep down I knew this would happen but I hoped it wouldn't. I want to turn it off but can't.

  8. Comfortably Numb Pink Floyd wrote this song about the club we have followed since it's inception in August 1994. The first two verses (Hello & Come on Now) are about the fans speaking to the club and getting no replies, then asking through the Trust if everything is OK. Relax is the board questioning the fans about the hurt that has been caused by mis-management and not listening to our views and then replying and stating our insignificance. OK & Stand Up are the solutions to our problems. The final verse in bold is about the board ignoring the warning signs and that is why we are on the verge of disappearing into the abyss. Hello Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me Is there anyone at home? Come on now I hear you're feeling down Well, I can ease your pain Get you on your feet again Relax I'll need some information first Just the basic facts Can you show me where it hurts? There is no pain, you are receding A distant ship smoke on the horizon You are only coming through in waves Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying When I was a child I had a fever My hands felt just like two balloons Now I've got that feeling once again I can't explain, you would not understand This is not how I am I have become comfortably numb I have become comfortably numb O.K. Just a little pin prick There'll be no more ah! But you may feel a little sick Can you stand up? I do believe it's working, good That'll keep you going through the show Come on, it's time to go There is no pain you are receding A distant ship smoke on the horizon You are only coming through in waves Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse Out of the corner of my eye I turned to look but it was gone I cannot put my finger on it now The child is grown The dream is gone...... We have become comfortably numb Listen for yourself, it's all in here>>> The hurt, the pain, the reluctance and pig-headedness to listen to the fans asking what is going on, the lack of communication, the lack of ambition, the stench of mismanagement, the concert company, the battery farm, the demise since winning the Scottish Cup in 2015, the lack of passion, the lack of commitment, the dwindling fanbase, the lack of leadership. It has left the fans comfortably numb: a state of severe alienation and burnout. When the pressures of life and the evils, insanity and corruption of the outside world are too much and you build a mental wall and you shut yourself out from everything and everyone. You just want to retreat by watching TV or listening to music a LOT to take you from your inner pain but your attention span is so minimized you may wind up on the couch looking up at the ceiling and constantly changing TV channels with the remote. Certain scenes or sounds may bring up painful emotions and make you cry. (urban dictionary) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Match/Ticket/Parking Info Naelifts it's a 17:30 kick off ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A bit about the game: We lost 2-1 at New Douglas Park on Wednesday night. An incredibly inventive goal from Kevin O'Hara or a comedy of errors from an Inverness point of view saw us go one down in the sixth minute. Another dubious goal saw us two down with Ridgers claiming he was being impeded. We could have lost a third in that first half horror show had Graham Grainger spotted Wallace Duffy blocking a shot with his arm. Enter Samson Lawal and suddenly things began to look better, and even more better when Aribim Pepple scored with his first touch after 68 minutes. Game on and all to play for on Saturday as we start the game one goal down. Danny Devine won't take part after rolling his ankle on the halfway line. All are in agreement that Lawal and Pepple should play a bigger part, but will anyone listen to us. I won't hold my breath. It's our final game of this season, win or lose. It could be a defining game in the history of this club. What on earth have we become... Less of this>>> Off the post, off the head of Ridgers and into the back of the net! Hamilton take the lead! pic.twitter.com/WY6JtjdaCh And more of this>>> Here's Waiting for Dunc and pre-match>>> Danny Devine out.

  10. Like many here I’m sure. We were at the Caley club the night they had their first chat to the fans about their ideas for the club moving forward. Not one thing they said has come to fruition and without doubt I would agree there time is up. Morrison seems to be a decent guy but he has to be culpable for hiring Gardiner. They seem to have alienated the business community in Inverness and taken us backwards for sure. There was talk about job losses if we go down. The first wage saved should be gardiners and not job losses for the hard working people lower down. I’m ripping just now and scared to say what I really feel. A few drinks from now and it might be different

  12. Sad to see after a decent first few minutes. But, we have given away soft goals all season. Ridgers at fault for the first one, he should have saved that. His errors in recent weeks have proved costly. I fear Division 1 is our level nowadays, so we can have no complaints.

  13. It’s been frantic, end to end stuff and we’ve already created more than we normally do in a full match. The irony is that if we played our usually negative anti-football, we’d still be in the tie.

  14. We've had bigger games but this is probably the most important game in the club's history. Not that you would know that by looking at the club's website. The club seem to be treating this like an ordinary match. As ST holders we have simply had an email telling us that as loyal supporters we have to pay full price for our ticket. Nothing to encourage us to come or encourage us to bring along someone else. For this vitally important final game of the season there is no pre match entertainment, no enhanced hospitality; nothing to encourage anybody to come along and cheer the team on rather than watch it on telly. It is pretty quiet on here too as though the club's apathy is infectious. It is as though the club has had its life and soul sucked out. I just hope the club's temporary employees on the pitch can demonstrate a bit more enthusiasm than their employers. They will need all the support they can get from those of us who will be dipping into our pockets to watch in person.

  15. We're not going to win this one with 'possession football' because Hamilton will happily let us do that all evening. Our best hope is that the players go rogue and ignore the manager's instructions by being on the full offensive from the off.

  17. We need a complete clear out from top to bottom. The current incumbents seem not to care about the club. The only way we are going if nothing changes is even further down. Almost 10 years of decline: Almost back to where we started.

  18. Well Norwich didn’t hesitate to get rid of Wagner after the debacle of the second leg at Leeds, despite his best efforts to get them to the playoffs he just wasn’t the right fit. We should do the same if Big Dunc doesn’t fall on his sword, he isn’t the right man for a rebuild in League One.

  19. John Rankin has done a fantastic job with Accies they had a total game plan whilst we just looked bereft of ideas in the second half. The type of ex player we could have done with in our dugout. We now just have to regroup somehow.

  21. Usual mix of bad errors at the back and negative football from Ferguson. His pig headed refusal to change his approach to games got us into this mess and will see us relegated to a division we will struggle to come back from. He'll ultimately go down as one of the worst appointments in the clubs history.

  22. And make sure Ridgers stays in his goal area - to lose goals over his head, twice in one season, is twice too many. Get back in your area Mark, please, and we may still be in our League ...... please Mark.......please. I really get distressed when goalies stray forwards and then get caught out. He does it too often, has been caught out now so, stop it NOW.

  23. Hoping we forget trying to replicate Barcelona and Manchester City tomorrow, ditch the total football and have a right good old fashioned go from the off..... If Billy starts it should be in addition to Samuel and Pepple not instead of in my opinion!

  48. Following on from @DoofersDad's post. I hadn't considered the implications to the planning appeal. The club not having ultimate control of the battery storage could have a detrimental impact on that given how hard we leaned on that fact from the outset. Hopefully we've not shot ourselves in the face again.
