I am not sure if any of you know the answer to this difficult (maybe) question because i was told this at Thurso Golf Club dinner/dance night and it quite frankly shocked me.

Question: Who was the last person to score a hat-trick at Telford Street?

Now, this doesn't have to be anyone from our club but maybe it was somebody from another club.

Well Herchie got one in 94 but that's not much of a shock.....

According to Broadfoot Scott McLean got 4 the week before we opened TCS against a HL select or whatever.

Stewarty got 3 against Albion Rovers in 95-6.

Not very shocking though.

None right so far, as i said it is a shock and i will give you a clue: this person DID NOT play for us and when i reveal the answer you WILL be shocked.

I will reveal answer tomorrow when i get in from work or after game against Airdrie if i am in before then ok.

Final clue: I think it was against Wick before Telford Street closed because this person told me that they (Wick) got humped many times before this game so i assume it was during Highland League days or maybe a friendly v Wick at Telford Street.

Here is the answer to my brainteazer question as stated, however, it is a bit longer than i said as i was on TartanArmy Messageboard calling for THAT THING (Burley, i couldn't call him a manager as that is an insult to Fergie and Wenger) to be sacked ASAP and had to take time to get round that embarassment but i am here now :D .

Answer to the question is Terry Mackay who must have played for Wick or Thurso. Now i know this because Terry himself told me at Thurso Golf Club Dinner/Dance because he knew i supported Caley and he asked me the same question i asked you and i didn't know and then he told me it was himself, and to be honest it shocked me that the last player to score a hat-trick at Telford Street is a member of Thurso Golf Club.

To be honest i thought nobody would get this and i was proved right :001: :019: :D :D
