just spilt a glass of water on my electric plugs, was sparking rapidly for 5 seconds until the trip went off. managed the cleverly switch off the plugs with a handy device......... called a finger and then i switched the trips back on.

Do i need to replace the whole plugs or just wait until it dries?

Buy new ones unless you are sure you have completely dried out the plugs, any low insulation will probably trip the boxes.

Don't try this at home children, electricity kills.

Alternatively..........plug them in and stick yer tongue across the terminals.
