Reminds me of the postman who used to do our street.

Oakley ahead of Baird every time for me, but Gary Warren would be better up front than either. Throw Daniel Mackay in there for the knock-downs and who knows what could happen. If 16 year olds can bre

I don’t think that’s fair comment. We were not in a position to match the wages on offer to him from elsewhere and even if we did, he would probably not have chosen to drop a level when he could stay

(As an aside he has no goals from 17 appearances at Well, whose manager has said he is looking for new strikers.....)

It wasn't wages that was the issue, it was his lack of wanting to hang around for how he was treated last season and never really given a fair chance.

As for his current record at Well, agreed its not great but at lease he is proven to have scored some goals at a higher level, unlike our current options especially Baird who despite numerous seasons doesn't have a decent record of goals even at this level. Just making the point that we should have gone with at least 1 striker proven to score goals at a level on par or better than we are currently playing at - I don't think that we have.

In answer to the original question, after watching yesterday's game I'd say:

Both. Oakley to start, Baird to come on as a second striker in the last 10 minutes for whoever looks knackered out of the front three.
