Feels like only yesterday the season ended in heartbreak in Perth but we already know who we will face in the opening fixture of the 2022/23 campaign. Queens Park at home on 30 July it is! Bring it on!

Looking like it’s only one home league game between December 3rd and January 14th ?

We're at home to Cove on 2nd January

Suspect those are weekends reserved for Scottish Cup fixtures so we may have another home fixture to cram in before the winter break for the World Cup. And as noted above we have Cove at home on 2 January 2023.

November 26 and January 21 will be Cup fixtures like the corresponding dates last season. Not sure why Dec 10 is a blank. The SFA are quite predictable with the cup dates -  any changes tend to be in the prelim rounds in the summer. The World Cup will be on in December but no Scotland fixtures.  We played that week last season (the 6-1 thrashing of Morton after they had put a premature end to our annual cup run).

It is good that all games look to be weekend games without any pre-planned midweek dates.

Queens Park and Cove in our first two home games will be interesting.

I can’t wait!
