Blast and botheration etc - I’m out of the country when the game is ICT v Rothes.   I hope ICT progress as I’ll certainly support our boys, whether under whatever age, at the next game, in October.  Having seen the under 19s v Hamilton away earlier this year, I have plenty confidence in our young players.

It sounds like County fielded a strong team at Wick tonight, not in the spirit of the competition. Wick had a player sent off in the fifth minute. Jay Henderson got a hat trick. There’s a debate raging as to whether it ended 8-0 or 9-0!

The date has been changed to 27 September. Unfortunately the venue has been changed too and it is now being played at Rothes for some reason.

In case anyone fancies a Wednesday evening in Rothes, this game is this week. Kick off at 2000.

It was drawn as a home game but has been reversed for some annoying reason.

To be fair I think all of these games should be reversed. Good for the Highland league teams to get the gate receipts.

Going by the ICT official website Robert this game is tomorrow (Tuesday) night??!

This is the link I had:

https://ictfc.com/north-of-scotland-cup-fixture-rothes-a-27-09-2023/

As mentioned above other sources all say Wednesday, so this bit of the club’s website is wrong:

https://ictfc.com/calendar/fixtures/

But you and IBM have neatly summed the issue up. Once again the club’s communication is found to be lacking!

Keith Bray has opened the scoring.

And that was it!

Given 9 of the starting 11 are in the first team squad, I’d have expected a much more convincing score.

Anyone who attended able to comment?

But it was a clean sheet…..

Away game, crap weather probably a bit of pressure on our guys knowing the new manager is there. Not very impressive on paper but it's a cup and into the next round so let's take a positive this wk.

Only 2 games for another trophy to get an early cup double in the cupboard. I hope Dunc insists on a bus tour to celebrate.
