Smarties In A Piece

I was ridiculed at work today at lunchtime for making a chicken roll and smartie piece. It is absolutely gorgeous and everyone in the office looked at me like I had 6 heads! I then went on to explain that as a kid, we'd sometimes have sugar pieces, consisting of bread, spread and a sprinkling of sugar. This was also ridiculed by this lot. Someone please back me up here!!!!!

No sure about the smartie bit, but i mind of having boiled egg and soldiers then dunking the soldiers in the sugar bowl after the egg!
