There's only so much of this kind of drivel that fans can take from the morons running the game in this country before they say "screw this for a game of soldiers!" and go looking for an alternative. I for one am more than halfway there already. This whole thing stinks of corruption and bullying. I'm glad at least Alex Thomson is telling it like it is.

When I met him earlier, he mentioned that he may be going out to Syria to carry on as the war correspondent for Channel 4. Long may he continue as Channel 4's Chief Newco correspondent! We're lucky to have a journalist of this standard.
