Supporters Bus?

Get the supporters bus to come through Barn church rd, Smithton Culloden and Balloch, same route as bus 10.It would be far better to be picked up and dropped off on that route [for Aberdeen only],as to park at the stadium than do the magical mystery tour around the city then back to the stadium and get home an hour later than doing a small detour along Barn Church rd.

I hadn't intended running a minibus for this game, but if I can get enough confirmed interest by tomorrow night then I'll run one at ?15/head......and I'll pick up and drop off on route  :004:

CaleyD, does the ?15 per head stand, even if the bus is full.  There are at least 5 of us planning going, but we are hoping to go through early enough to watch the old firm game in a pub in Aberdeen and then straight home.  I suppose I could just take my car though if there are just the 5 of us.

Let me know what you were thinking and I'll have a word with the rest of them.

Sorry LG & Caleyblue, when I'd looked at this thread last night I didn't have enough people interested and I've now gone and made other plans for myself so I'm no longer able to do the minibus.

I think the number 10 bus will operate a Sunday service.

I have checked - the number 10 bus is running a reduced service and First Scotrail are also operating (Sunday service), so getting to Aberdeen shouldn't be a problem for anyone wanting to travel through.  I'd book it now if anyone's planning the train though - according to the paper Boxing Day services were a nightmare with them forced to bus people because of trains being full  :018:

Looks like we're taking two cars.  :003:    There are anything between 8 and 11 of us going through.

I am not sure that was Boxing Day. I think that was the 27th but Scotrail said they expected less customer demand for the services that day and ran a Saturday service instead  :015:

You're right RiG - in my defence the EE printed a piece about trains on the 27th with the headline "Boxing Day trains too full" and I didn't read it too closely...  Still we both know all about the EE and First Scotrail I'm sure  :017: But the point about booking is the relevant bit!

The Eveing Express is indeed utter mince. It makes The Sun look good and that headline doesn't surprise me in the slightest!

Their coverage of the Donald Trump saga is ridiculously one sided.
