Deano gets Swansea trial plus interest from Celtic

According to BBC, former ICT attacker Dean McDonald is getting a trial at Swansea City, while Swansea claim Celtic have shown interest in him...

Good luck to him but he must have improved dramatically since leaving TCS if he gets a contract at Swansea or Celtic.. And judging by the clubs he's been with since leaving, I'm not sure thats the case...

There was an internet rumour early/middle of last season that a Celtic scout watched him, and oh how we laughed. I reckon it was just some random Scottish bloke trying to wangle free admission to a game.

When we arrived back at TCS from the 2-1 away defeat against Motherwell on the second day of the 07/08 season he was in the car park with a full on afro and signed my programme. Must be worth a fortune by now....
