Attaching Videos to a Post

Site won't let me add a MP4 file to a post even though it's well below 10MB. Are these file types blocked, and if so can they be unblocked?

only images are uploadable. videos can be embedded from most providers like vimeo, youtube etc. theres too much overhead in hosting and converting video for web play.

Thanks Scotty. I have now tried embedding the youTube code in SpecialBBCode/Media. It looks fine in the preview but when I hit Add Reply it disappears. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

just enter the complete url, no need for embed codes or special stuff. the forum will take care of the rest
