An Invernessian living in Maple Ridge, Canada, has passed-on.

The following is an excerpt from a Notice of Death, recently  penned by a close relative in our local newspaper in Canada, namely the Maple Ridge Times," relating to a lady who emigrated to Canada in1965:

"Patricia Anne Lumsden (Elder) was born in Inverness, Scotland , in 1939 and emigrated to Canada  in 1965 but passed peacefully on 7 December 2019 in Maple Ridge,  British Columbia, Canada which is the city in which  I currently  live.

She had two sons, named Jamie (Kashy) and John. and had several grandchildren.

Mum worked hard whilst dealing with a degenerative spinal condition but eventually poor health prevailed and she spent her later years in long-term care...……."
