Craig Brown will announced as the new manager for Motherwell on a short term contract, Archie Knox to be his assistant.

Guess that rules out Butcher going then...

How old is Alex Ferguson? Brown has been doing a lot of football punditry work lately, talks a lot of sense and this will have put him into the 'window' for a job, and if he is any way successful i'm sure with a good assistant he could do the job long term.

Anyway i cant see Butcher going back to Well' no way
