That’s it, just came on to offer a dairy clue.

I have not been down that way for years just passed by and never stopped at the old bridge.  I would have needed a gift

A quick think, enter some search terms into Google, find an image, confirm with the wee yellow man...

... and we're on the A835 just north of Elphin.

You must have nothing to do today snorbens 😂😂

Took less than a minute 😎

OK - another of my Dad's, from 1987.  Have checked it against more recent pictures, and with the wee yellow man.

Looks similar to Applecross

It's on an island

The only islands I have been to are Skye and Orkney Mainland   ☹️

With all those trees, I'd have guessed that it was quite a bit south of Applecross.  But even Islay and Mull don't appear to have much in the way of trees.

Googling for "white thatched cottage by a bay" doesn't work

No you gave it away, I knew it wasn’t Islay scenery so a quick look at Mull...

I discovered a fix to get the WYM back. You restart your browser, I used to leave it open for days. But if I’m away from home I haven’t discovered how to do it on a tablet.

i know this one so I’ll leave it a bit longer.

I didn't know it, but these must be the most-photographed boats in the Isles!

Salen Bay on Mull, beside the A848.

That’s not fair 😂 it’s next to an A road and a main line railway station ( I refuse to say train station  )
