My first ghost tracking tour began on a very wet and miserable Saturday night at Glasgow's Central Station, 7.30pm. it was there I first met with Tony Stebbings, founder and organiser of TOS. Tony came across as an amiable chap with a laid back manner and sense of humour to boot. I was then introduced to a mother and daughter team, Liz and Lisa and to Paul. We were ushered onto a wating minibus where I met three more members of the group, a young couple named Billy and Kim, along for the experience and the latter a confirmed paranormal fan, both of whom were interested in the evp phenomena. I also met another James, a techie and paranormal enthusiast.

Our journey took roughly about an hour and a half and we had a good banter about all things paranormal (as you would expect). On arrival at the bunker the first thing I noted was how spooky and ethereal it looked, completely enshrouded in a thick blanket of mist which added to the experience.

We also met some more people at the bunker, some folks from Radio Leith FM including one of the TOS group and two more ladies from TOS, Lorraine and Janice.

Our group was ushered down into the bowels of the building to be met by the friendly manageress and tour guide, Mairi, who showed us into the coffee shop and plied us with hot coffee and choccies (thank you Mairi).

After our initial guided tour, we regrouped and split into various cells to investigate the premises. I got asked to join Tony and Paul and had some amazing experiences in three particular rooms.

My first encounter with the dead came from the Chapel. I did some psychometric readings for impressions and found a young 'red haired' man (confirmed by Mairi) who was isolated, anxious and uncertain of the war's outcome and a bit afraid of meeting his demise in the bunker.

He was an avid letter writer and wrote to his fianc? and hoped to get married, indeed there was a sense of urgency about this, as if he would hate to die unfulfilled. He felt that the hymns they sang were "steeped in blood" (?) and being a religious, he said he "took his burdens to the lord". Another strange thing occurred there, Tony had taken a shot of a side wall and discovered a strange group of lights in a definite pattern, which weren't there to begin with!

Room two was the Operations Room and it was here that I got an impression of a young english woman named Susan (confirmed by Mairi). Susan had a sailor boyfriend who served on a warship and she felt they were both doing their bit for the country, she in the bunker and he, on the ship. As with the young man, there was a feeling for the war to end and a return to normal life. Interestingly enough, Susan said her best feature was her legs, she was proud of her nice legs!

My last and most interesting 'find' was in the dormitory, for it was there I encountered a young airman called Johhny Simpson. I saw Johhny wearing his flying jacket and helmet and also saw him leaning against the open doorway of the dorm, off duty, dressed in a white shirt, sleeves rolled up and open at the neck. His physique was skinny and he had a gaunt face and jet black hair.

He was a smoker and a cigarette dangled rom the corner of his mouth and he used his thumb and forefinger to hold it and pluck it from his mouth.

He had chest problems and I got the word GAS although being a smoker, it wouldn't have helped him at all. He said they (people in the bunker?) felt like rats trapped in a cage and that they all longed for the light.

He said that the only things that kept him sane were "the fags, scrabble and the girls". They played scrabble and often cheated (confirmed by Mairi). Lastly

his parting shot to me was a plea for all those who sacrificed their lives not to be forgotten. "Remember the fliers" he said.

Well folks, I hope you've enjoyed reading my first blog and hopefully there'll be more to come in the next one. My first time with The other Side in the secret bunker was amazing! PS, at present I don't know anything of what the others discovered but I'm looking forward to hearing about it all.

I enjoyed reading that, thanks, i too can say that i had a great experience at the secret bunker, and meeting everyone.I've been part of a couple of investigation teams and i can honestly say that i have never met a more enthusiastic team, it seemed as if we all just instantly became a team once we met each other and i can't wait to meet up again.

As for my experience at the bunker, i was in a team with Billy, Kim, Lisa and Liz, we got some amazing response on E.V.P. in the dorm, it seemed that when we asked if there was anyone there, and if there was what age are you ? i thought i heard someone saying '14', i think some of the group agreed.

The most impressive piece of evidence we got was when me and Kim were in one of the rooms just off the nuclear operations room, Kim thought she heard a howling noise , i never actually heard it at the time, but on reviewing my footage on the video camera that was locked off on a trigger object very near us .......you can clearly hear it.

Also in the chapel we were calling out with the Dictaphone beside us, our technique was to ask 4 or 5 questions and then play back what we had just recorded so if there was a response then we could steer our questions in that direction, i thought the most fascinating piece of evidence we got in the chapel was when we heard two distinguishing clicks that ,at first sounded like a torch being put on the off again but we tried to replicate the noise but couldn't.

After the investigation (and a good night's sleep), i started to review the footage both the digital camera picture's and the video camera.Unfortunately there didn't seem to be anything abnormal on the pictures, i then decided to have a look over the video camera that was locked off in one of the rooms just off the nuclear ops room(sorry i cant remember the name of the the room) recording any possible movement on a trigger object, which in this case was a rubber band that had the outline drawn around it with a pencil so that we would know if it had been moved. As i said earlier when me and Kim were in the room she heard a growl or a howl but at the time i didn't but on reviewing the sound my video camera was picking up you can clearly hear it. After going through most of the footage which was about an 1:02:51 mins, right at the end you can hear us all in another room it's very faint but then you can actually hear the furniture in the room moving and scraping on something then my camera just stopped recording, unfortunately i don't have the actual moving of anything on film but you can clearly hear it.....as for the elastic band, that didn't move at all.

Interesting reports indeed and I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer for me feb8.  Are these people 'trapped' there or did they come back to visit cos they knew you were around?  If they weren't able to pass onto spirit, could you/did you help them on their way?
