Did anyone here go to Only an Excuse at Eden court tonight (13th)? It was so very funny though i didnt see much advertising for it around inverness. I only found out about it because i was looking to see if any one was playing at Eden Court soon.

Good show from Jonathon Watson, albeit pretty predictable,His ability to change character with the raising if an eyebrow or hunch of a shoulder is superb. His observations of Charlie Nicholas was brilliant and he can still wring a lot of laughs out of Frank Macavennie and "the Burdz"

:cute01: :angry: He is brilliant. He was great at Jim white and was FANTASTIC at Terry Butcher!

I would say 8/10 on comedy, but considering he did ALL of it on his lonesome, i think 9/10.

No doubting he's very good at what he does but just felt it was all a wee bit scripted and I'd seen it all before.I thought in a live show a questions from the audience to his characters would have worked well if he could ad lib,hence the 7/10.Still a good night out :cute01:

Yeah i have to agree tbh. You could see him taking glimpses at a sheet when he was talking :D
