Group A : Chelsea, Roma, Bordeaux, CFR Cluj

Group B : Inter Milan, Werder Bremen, Panathinaikos, Anorthosis Famagusta

Group C : Barcelona, Sporting Lisbon, FC Basel, Shakhtar Donetsk

Group D : Liverpool, PSV Eindhoven, Marseille, Atletico Madrid

Group E : Man United, Villarreal, Celtic, Aalborg

Group F : Lyon, Bayern Munich, Steaua Bucharest, Fiorentina

Group G : Arsenal, FC Porto, Fenerbahce, Dynamo Kiev

Group H : Real Madrid, Juventus, Zenit St Petersburg, BATE Borisov

Battle of Britain in Group E, Celtic vs. Man United, plus Villarreal and Danish Aalborg

Other British clubs... Chelsea face Roma, Bordeaux & Romanians CFR Cluj. Liverpool have a tough group - PSV, Marseille & Atletico. Arsenal face Porto, Fenerbahce & Dynamo Kiev.

Group H looks like it could be interesting... Juventus back in the big time with Real Madrid and UEFA Cup winners Zenit. No one is really sure who BATE Borisov are :rotflmao: . Lyon, Bayern & Fiorentina might be an interesting battle for top two spots, don;t know who good Steaua are these days. Barcelona & Sporting should have Group C wrapped up, cant see Basel or Shakhtar causing them any major problems.

And the other uninteresting group see Inter et Mourinho face Werder, Panathinaikos & Cypriot side Anothosis Famagusta (who played Rangers a couple of years back).

Liverpool will struggle to get out of that group. But no doubt Gerrard will save the day again for the most average team ever to reach a Champions League Final/Semi Final in recent years!!

Rafa will be out the door in a month or two aswell.

Three semi finals in four seasons? Not bad for an average team...

There are already plans in place for protests & boycotts if Rafa is sacked. Surely the yank 2hats wouldn't be that stupid?

But you are still miles off the pace in England the last few seasons despite spending millions on players some of whom have turned out to be very poor signings indeed.
