Just needed to post this thread - I've been looking forward to the SFL fer months - I will add to Hairys

Esson :) :) :)

Did everything that was expected of him and a clean sheet... good to have him back. I would hand him the captains armband as he is so demonstrative plus he has bags of energy and urgency and is always on the look out for a throw out to start an attack - I also didnt think that he was going to get beaten yesterday - and that means that those in front of him gain confidence too

Proctor :( :(

Shakey at best, their number 11 ripped him to shreds in the second half. I don't think he completed a pass all game!!!

Would have given him :lol::lol: - I thought that he wasnt match fit and was left without cover from Imrie at times - still dont think that he is a defender though

Munro :D :D :D :D :D

MOTM, won everything in the air and showed to all the doubters he can be a leader. Full marks to the big man I thought he was a rock today Agree

Bulvatis :) :) :) :)

Did well, good debut Looks more like a full back to me but he is solid if not spectacular - a Pavels he is NOT. He does his job quietly and effectively and he does have pace - would like to see him when he is tested in the air

Djebi-Zadi :) :) :)

Great run and could have scored but as ropey as ever at the back. Such a frustrating player but great entertainment Believe it or not I would have given Jimmy :lol::lol::lol: - He has evidently had some coaching in the summer because he looked for the easy ball most times and went pass and go as well. But when he fecks up he does it in stlye - the misscue in the first half was deplorable and when the Pars broke out in the second half he was positioned to the right of Proctor  Still he was much improved

Imrie :) :) :)

Worried the keeper with a fizzing shot but never really got into the match. Hopefully he's not out for long because we are really struggling for cover on our right wing Was it me or did he look disinterested or was it that he missed Tokely and Foran ?

Cox :) :) :) :)

Great finish... Black who?? Yip - looks like we have unearthed a good un - BUT who is the back up playmaker ??!!

Stratford :) :) :) :)

Managed to keep both Duncan & McBain out of the squad and I can understand why. Never stopped and hardly put a foot wrong Not so sure - would have given him :lol::lol: - he certainly is non stop but I am not so sure about his positioning or his distribution - it was worrying that the Pars were allowed to hit so many 25-30 yard efforts from the centre of midfield - Duncan wouldnt have allowed that to happen

Eagles :) :) :)

Preferred Haynes to be honest. Eagles worked hard but his final ball was awful Yip - I was looking forward to seeing him but he disappointed - does giv us some much needed width though

Sanchez :(

Either unfit or didn't want to be there... he could turn out to be a decent player but looked very lazy I would have given him :lol: - a bit Niculae-esque in that he is clearly not match fit and may have been thrown in cos of the lack of available forwards - He did show some great movement and has a first touch - Early days but he could be the Bingham / Juanjo type player who murders the SFL

Rooney :( :( :(

3 for effort, caused plenty of trouble for their centre halves but he could have put the game to bed in the first half... missed a bucket load of chances I am afraid that he missed his big chance to put down a challenge - if only he had scored when through in the first half - he just doesnt have the pace - he is behind all his peers in the forwards I am afraid

Haynes :) :) :)

Once he loses a couple of pounds he could be a real star for us... Totally agree - he could be a wee star

McBain :(

Offered nothing as a sub apart from some incomplete passes

Sutherland (??) :)

Certainly offered more than Sanchez

I think this is an important point. I hope Butcher noticed and brings Russell back in, if not next week, then at least for Dens.

ESSON ;):lol: Despite Pars long range shooting had surprisingly little to do, but still our number one.

PROCTOR :lol::lol: Had a torrid time from a lively David Graham, but considering it was his first competitive game he coped well and put in some important challenges.

BULVITIS :lol::lol::lol: He looks the business. One shaky moment in the first half when half the defence were looking like the keystone cops, but he cefrtainly got involved and will be better before the season ends.

MUNRO :lol::lol::lol::lol: My MoM as well, two crucial challenges and his general aerial ability kept the Bayne threat at bay. One of the blocks in the first half prevented a certain goal. Well done Grantie.

LIONEL :lol::lol::lol: Almost capped a great first half display with a shot that shaved the keepers far post. Sliced one clearance high and mighty but his overall play was Brazilliant.

IMRIE :lol: One stinging shot is hardly likely to release the purse strings of the SPL clubs. Dougie back to his inconsistent bets.

COX :lol::lol::lol: A lot quiter than I thought he might be, but trust me, this lad will be big news by the end of the season. Keogh like winner at the end gets him that fourth smiley.

STRATFORD :lol: Disappeared and I thought he should have been replaced, we don't need two invisible players.

EAGLE :lol::lol: Started brightly but flattered to deceive a little. Always looked busy but not direct enough although he kept possession well.

SANCHEZ :lol::lol: He has all the tricks and could have scored late on but was crowded out and saw his effort deflected off target. Maybe not yet match fit but will come good methinks.

ROONEY :lol::lol: One paced, not a reaction box player and lacked the guile to beat the keeper on more than one occasion. Battled hard as a target man but got little support.

McBain :lol: Not on for too long but showed his worth on the left side.

Hayes :lol::lol: Nice little cameo from Johnny, much more direct and looks like a good signing once he gets in shape.

Sutherland :lol: Not on for long either but could be a better option than Rooney although Foran will usurp both of them.

Away Crowd :lol::lol::lol: Fantastic effort lads, but lost the full house for the tirade of abuse directed at one of our own players.

Tannoyman :lol: Inaudible at half time. Maybe they have the same system as us.

East End Inn :lol::lol::lol: Great spread put on for us, cheers.
