After a quick call to my old man, I now know it was Black Park....name was changed some time in the 60's.

You are correct of course, It was known as the Black Park.

It used to have the cattle mart as part of the site and was where the cattle show was held before moving to Heathfield park.

The white building in the background is the Golf clubhouse.
