The official site has posted an injury update on the main site, linky

Club captain Richie Foran is back in full training for the first time since his pre-season injury

-- a real boost for manager Terry Butcher.

The Dubliner, voted the club's Player of the Year last season, has no chance of facing Hearts

at Inverness on Saturday but could come in to the reckoning for next Wednesday's CIS Cup

tie at Celtic.

"Richie has graduated from just running to taking a full part in training sessions, which he's

delighted about", says Butcher."He's now firmly on the way back, which is a relief. The Hearts

game is too soon for him but he might have a chance of figuring in the Parkhead tie.

It would be touch and go for that one."

Left back Kenny Gillet, who jarred his knee in a block tackle against Hibs, has had a scan

although the club are hopeful it is not too serious. Right back Kevin McCann, who is in

line for a comeback against Hearts has suffered a slight reaction to his groin problem

but hopes it will clear up for Saturday.

"Dani Sanchez, who did so well as sub at Easter Road, and Gil Blumenshtein, injured against

Celtic on the opening day, have slight knee niggles and we'll have to wait to see if they

clear up."

Its great news that our injury problems seem to be improving

Will be great to have Richie back in the team as i think we've really missed his creativity, strength and goal threat.
